Two Gameweeks down and already the dilemmas are building; the siren song of the Wildcard button is calling.

Failing big hitters are the major bone of contention as Jonty, Andy and Luke join me for the second ScoutCast of the season.

We give our verdicts on Spurs talisman Harry Kane, while also assessing the fall-out from Manchester City and, in particular, the shot-shy Kevin De Bruyne.

Driven by another round of community questions, we also chew over The Pogba vs Mkhitaryan debate and the big Bournemouth bail out, before previewing Gameweek 3.

Oh, and after his ten point return on the Aaron Mooy investment, we wrestle to prevent Jonty dropping his name into the conversation at every opportunity. I think I counted two. That’s a win for everyone involved.

      I'm thinking RLC/Carroll rotation at 9m is a gift this year. RLC has been playing well although it has yet to transform into FPL hauls as yet. Carroll is also looking promising s he is on set pieces and has good fixtures on the horizon.
      Ibra is coming back and I can see him playing in the easier fixtures giving Lukaku owners (including me) sleepless nights. Unpopular I know but I think because you have Mkhi you can loose Lukaku. Its what I'm looking to do anyhoo....

      Even though i'm die hard Arsenal, i'll suggest you to get rid of Lacazette and free up funds. Get probably Chicha/Mounie instead and get probably Alonso in for Mee/Daniels or Pogba for Carroll.

      Eriksen a way better pick ATM. I think Alli will do well over these good fixtures but just no space to squeeze him in.

      I prefer Eriksen. Alli is banned for the first 3 CL games though, so he could do better

      IMHO I don't think it makes a difference over the medium/long term. They tend to end up with similar points except there is perhaps less variance with Eriksen, more a consistent drip whereas Alli seems to get explosive hauls.

        That was the case last season, but I personally picked Eriksen due to the fact he's a better player and probably more likely to repeat last season's success. I don't think Alli is going to be able to score 18 goals again.

      Most of Alli's work is done off the ball, while Eriksen likes it at his feet. I sometimes feel Alli is underrated because of this, he really is an excellent player at finding the right positions, though it won't often show up in the stats. That being said, it only takes a brace from Alli and a blank from Eriksen for many to shift their view on who's the "better pick"...

        For those playing the Draft game, who are your top targets for this week?

        Obviously it changes depending on who's available in your league, but I imagine a lot of leagues will be in a similar position.

        Personally, I'm going for Richarlison, Lossl, and Hegazi. Expecting to miss out of Hegazi, so also going to try get Dann in for a one week punt.
