This is a very strange experience.

Denied the opportunity to host this week’s ScoutCast by BT’s shortcomings and with the Wildcard active, I am forced to join you and eavesdrop while my decision-making is torn apart by Andy, Jonty, Az and Luke. I have to admit, it’s pretty tortuous.

It’s like my hands are firmly fastened to the couch while the quartet lapdance* their critique around me. How I want to get “involved”.

Aside from appraising my “ill-timed” Wildcard, the boys tackle your other community questions.

They consider the Liverpool double-up, question whether midfield coverage can replace either Kane and Lukaku, debate whether Alonso is essential and then look at how fixtures can shape cheap defensive acquisitions.

I’m pretty sure they answer them all exactly as I would. In fact, listening back, they appear to justify my Wildcard for me. I can hardly wait for next week.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Changed a fair few of my players on wildcard, more than expected. Think I'd just picked all the wrong premium players. It seems Mark is thinking of Lacazette in case Kane blanks and drops again then moving to Kane for next week...

Interesting tactic. Don't like planning transfers though. May be a good move.

    A) Mooy, Mane, Lukaku
    B) Mkhi, Sanchez, Bony/Tammy

Tempted by this. Already have Pogba so losing Lukaku but getting Mkhi could hopefully cancel that out.

Not sure I'll do it but I really want Sanchez!

Evening. I have 2 FT's and considering KDB, Mounie, Monreal to Mkhy, Firmino, Wimmer for a -4. I have the exact money. Gives me:
    DDG
    Mee / Naughton / Cedric
Salah / Mkhy / Ramsey / Ritchie or Carroll
    Lukaku / Kane / Firmino
    Yes or no?

Hi all, appreciate some votes for the option you prefer:
    A.
    Foster
    Alonso - Naughton - Mee - Jones
Alexis Sanchez - Salah - Atsu
    Lukaku - Chicarito - Kane
    Elliot - Carroll - RLC - Mbemba +0.2itb

    B.
    Foster
    Alonso - Naughton - Mee - Jones
    Hazard - Salah - Atsu
    Lukaku - Firmino - Kane
    Elliot - Carroll - RLC - Mbemba +0.3itb

    C.
    Foster
    Alonso - Naughton - Bertrand - Jones
    Alli - Salah - Atsu
    Lukaku - Firmino - Kane
    Elliot - Carroll - RLC - Mbemba +0.3itb

A is very tempting cause It gives me a chance to own Alexis but probably B/C is the logical ones, right?

This is why the shrewd managers went Pogba over Mkhi. September is a bi**h of a month for CL teams playing every 3 days. Pogba nailed for 90mins imo can see Mkhi being dropped at least once and reduced mins.

i think Mata and Rashford/martial is the first one s in line, Mkhi has a history of playing many games in arow in germany and is important in heb way they set up, even if Mata is replaced by either Fellaini or Herrera. That as a non owner and the guy 7 points behind me having him so not an biased opinion, but coul surely be wrong, even if Mourinho like s to keep his first team stable and unchanged (see Chelsea)

Wanted to post my wildcard team to get some opinions.

    Hart
    Alonso, Bailly, Davies
    Mane, Knockaert, Eriksen, Mkhitaryan, Mooy
    Lacazette, Morata

Feedback is welcome; I know that there are multiple facets that could be changed around. Thanks!

Would like to get Kane in there somehow. Bailly, Laca, Morata to Jones, Firmino and Kane?

Don't like West Ham defence wise at the moment. Hart to Foster or Fabianski?

Boring one here: who should be first on my bench:

    A) Carroll (NEW)
    B) Dann (bur)

    Cheers.

Look at his history if you don't believe me. He will score a few assists and maybe and odd goal over the next 20 games.
