After Burnley’s Chris Wood condemned Crystal Palace to a fourth successive loss, we turn to the Liberty Stadium in Sunday’s second, and final, fixture at 4pm.

Having grabbed their first win of the season in the previous round of fixtures, Swansea now have the chance to play their way into our plans ahead of an outstanding upcoming home schedule.

From Gameweek 6 onwards, Paul Clement’s side entertain Watford, Huddersfield, Leicester, Brighton, Bournemouth and West Brom in their subsequent six matches at the Liberty.

With that in mind, Tammy Abraham- at just 5.5 – has the chance to emerge as a valid option for our three-man frontlines.

After opening his account for the season at Selhurst Park, the on-loan striker grabbed a goal and assist for England U21s over the recent international break. He’s partnered by Jordan Ayew, with Wilfried Bony on the hosts’ bench.

The Swans’ new arrival Renato Sanches is fast-tracked into the starting XI after joining on loan from Bayern Munich on transfer deadline day. Over 116,000 Fantasy Premier League managers acquired the Portuguese international ahead of Gameweek 4.

Similar to their hosts, Newcastle are also braced for a strong run of matches in front of their own fans – five of their next six home matches sees Stoke, Palace, Bournemouth, Watford and Leicester visit St James’ Park.

New boy Joselu leads the line again after scoring on his first start in the 3-0 win over West Ham last time around.

At 5.5, he could rival Abraham in the budget bracket up front, though Christian Atsu’s prospects in midfield are dealt a blow as he drops to the visitors’ bench.

    Pen imo

Accidental or not. Used his arm to clear the ball, effectively. Without his arm it would have been a race to the ball (though that context isn't so important to judge the incident).

Maybe. Not a red though. The clear chance was stopped with his body, the arm only made it go off the pitch.

Abraham as a third striker is still a good enabler if you're stocking heavily in midfield. I haven't got him though fwiw.

    Best Mane replacement strategy?

    A) Equally expensive replacement (Salah, Alli or even Hazard, I already have Eriksen).

    Or

    B) Upgrade third striker to Firmino and get a 7.5 -8 Mid.

My problem is there's not that many good options in that bracket. Unless you have space for Pogba or Mikhi, I'd go for Salah

    Parisse 6 mins ago
No. Ritchie never touched him, Mane knocked him out, can't you see the difference? Both decisions were correct.

Sorry, Parisse, this is rubbish. The colour of the card should NOT be determined by the outcome, rather the action.

    1. Pariße
      • 11 Years
      8 years, 10 months ago

But that's the law. Most leg breaks would've never been reds if it wasn't for the outcome. Mane wouldn't have been off if he didn't touch Ederson either.

      1. Differentiator
        • 10 Years
        8 years, 10 months ago

? Where does the law say that the outcome should drive the decision

        1. Pariße
          • 11 Years
          8 years, 10 months ago

Not exactly like this, it is up to the ref to determine how dangerous the high foot was for the fouled player. Given that Mawson is still on the pitch and Ederson ended up in a hospital makes it a quite obvious difference. You can look it up.

    2. Pariße
      • 11 Years
      8 years, 10 months ago

It is a valid argument of course, but there is a huge differene because of it. With high feet there's also an even finner line between foul or no foul. And trust me when I say it all depends on the action of the fouled player (whether he moves away by a relfex or moves prior to the chellenge).
