Our regular post-Gameweek delve into the members’ data is next on our Tuesday schedule.
We look at why Sergio Aguero has profited from a change of tactics and try to ascertain just why Harry Kane’s output remains a major issue at Wembley Stadium.
Man City, Brighton and Liverpool’s playmakers also find a place in this week’s article, while the West Ham and Swansea defences also catch the eye.
Hi guys. If you own Lacazette, what would you do? Sell or keep him for a few more games as Arsenal fixtures looks good
Id keep if I owned now.
Share minutes with Sanchez so maybe swap him for Jesus if possible
Ditch for Jesus
definitely keep...will score 3 over the next 2
keep
If you had to, which would you rather play:
A) RLC (mci)
B) Hegazi (ars)
rlc
100%
A
but to be honest I would make a hit to field some decent pick
Just sorting bench order mate, just wanted to push an answer out of people
hehe, clever 🙂
A
i have the luxury of having 0.4 in the bank which is actually an awkward amout to have to update someone. shall i leave it or get mustafi for cedric ?
any advice welcome 🙂
Get Mustafi/Maguire
thank you 🙂
Or Monreal!
good point but isnt mustafi better for creating chances ?
Creating? nope. Slight more goal threat but doesn't get many BAPS
Which 2 of Atsu, Brady and Naughton for GW 6?
brady and naughton
Atsu Brady
ederson
valencia,keane,walker,maguire
mhki,mane,salah
jesus,lukaku,morata
2 FT 0.3 ITB
Any suggestions??
Keane > Davies
def not this ^^^
Mane out for Alli/Eriksen imo
Agreed, no point having Mané benched for two more weeks.
Keane has great fixtures for most of the rest of the year.
Elliot
Mee - Jones - Bavies
Mooy - David Silva - Eriksen - Choupo-Moting
Chicharito - Kane (C) - Lukaku (V)
Foster Carroll - Zanka - Hegazi
1 FT 3,5 ITB
What shall i do for my team?
FREE HIT CHIP! What you think?
Elliot
Kolasinac • Davies • Bellerin • Fernandez
Salah • Mkhitaryan • Eriksen • D.Silva
Kun(C) • Jesus(vc)
Have you played it already? If the double ups dont work this might score less than your real team but you should have saved it.
Probably someone else other than Eriksen for this week? rest looks good
Not played it no! just toying with the idea so I don't lose most of my current team and Spurs, Arsenal, City have great fixtures. My team is:
Elliot
Monreal • Trippier • Suttner
Mkhitaryan • Antonio • Eriksen • Atsu
Kane • Lukaku • Firmino
(Foster, Carroll, Daniels, Long)
why use it this week?
Fair enough, back to the drawing board then 🙂
Save it for the blanks Rafa
Why would you do that? 🙂
You'll regret that when it's the league cup final weekend and four teams may be missing.
Good point Freddie! Thanks 🙂 Any suggestions on what to do with the below team?
I've done Lukaku to Aguero myself, see Van Djik back, don't see Lukaku bullying him and Southampton have done ok against United in the past so I like that move but Yoshi to Monreal also looks good.
Wait until an FA Cup weekend when there aren't that many matches.
Yeah, fair point mate 🙂
Yeah, true guys. Thanks for input. I'll hang fire then. Just no Man City this weekend is annoying me 🙂
What would you change here with 1FT. Thinking Yosh>Monreal or Lukaku>Kun?
Elliot
Yoshida • Trippier • Suttner
Mkhitaryan • Antonio • Eriksen • Atsu
Kane • Lukaku • Firmino
(Foster, Carroll, Daniels, Long)
Looking for 1 week punt! Cheers!
a) Carroll (Wat)
b) Can (Lei)
c) Fellaini (Sou)
I'd go Carroll. I've wildcarded in Cresswell, so I must admit I have a vested interest in (a) doing well...!
Sorry, I thought you meant Andy not Tom. I is not gud at reading and ting innit. In that case, I'd still go with (a) - mainly because I'm not sure if Can or Fellaini will start.
A or B
Fellaini
None of them are appealing, Can may not even start, if you were to force an answer out of me C could be most lucrative
For those of us who still have our first wildcard to use, when are you thinking is the best time to pull the trigger?
Next Saturday
depends how is your team
I will use it during IB but my ML friend told me that he will hold even longer as he is happy with his team so all depends how your team looks
Next Saturday before internationals
whys it best to save before internationals??
2 weeks with lots happening, and coincides nicely with a turn in fixtures for more teams than any other GW in the first 12 this season.
International break next week
Around that start of December, maybe late November.
Believe there is a change in fixture difficulty for a few teams and preps squad for Dec rotation
Have never understood how a WC helps just before a time of likely squad rotation for all teams, but there you go 🙂
Might be considered too crazy and absolutely idiotic...
Is it too out there...that i'm not even considering Man City Players for this gw???
you aint alone!
Same
You should consider them at least...! Going without is brave but could work. You'll need a big sofa to watch the game behind though - Palace are dire.
i think you need one of aguero jesus or david silva
My team is quite the shambles....
Bertrand & Mounie to Kolasinac and big AC?? Would mean two West Ham attackers (Including Antonio now)... OR Kane to Aguero and Daniels to Kolasinac...
B looks good if not on a hit i guess
What would you change in this team
Foster
Davies / Bertrand / Bailly / walker
Atsu / Mooy / Salah
Aguero(c) / lukaku / Kane
Bench - Elliot / RLC / Carroll / Rangel
Midfield isn't great but u gotta fund that forward line somehow
Mooy will need to go at some point.
dont like it sorry
Any ideas? 0.2Itb & 1Ft.
Foster
Davies Bertrand Jones
Eriksen Salah Mkhi Ritchie
Kane Lukaku Joselu
(Elliot - Carroll - Suttner - Long)
A) Bertrand ➡ Monreal
B) Bertrand ➡ Mustafi
C) Kane ➡ Aguero
Appreciate your thoughts!
after reading a lot of posts here you will probably get a lot of C answer but dont do it imo.
I would hold. If you must A
c all the way 🙂
Least likely to do that. I want to captain Kane.
Monreal over Mustafi?
Erm B
Any reason why Mustafi over Monreal?
Need help with few things as i activated my wildcard
Is trippier nailed on? or rotation-risk as there is aurier
Is Stones nailed on for the long run at city? Need to be sure on this
And a 5m Mid to choose from Atsu, Davis, March, Ibe. Who to choose?
Will appreciate your opinion beacuse these small decisions matter very much
no
not sure
atsu or davis but have you considered can ?
who is captaining Kane again?
I am.
o/
He's the golden boot winner 2 years running.
He costs 12.5m
Only 10 strikers have more points
Spurs have scored a whopping 7 goals in 5 games. (1 an og)
Spurs have scored once in the last 4 years @ West Ham
It's a no brainer.
o/
If your keeping him then your captaining him! Simple
Unfortunately.
Sold in wildcard. I wont be captaining him most weeks so he is too expensive to have.
I don't understand or buy this logic! I aim to have 5 big hitters and obviously captain 1. By your logic you'd only buy 1 big hitter...
"Too expensive" was my term and not "big hitter". He is £12.5m and that is above my tolerance level for expenditure if Im hardly going to captain him. Its a product of exploiting every £ spent.
Kept him but can't look past Kun
O/ Jesus doesn't feel captaincy trustworthy.
Which combo you suggest
a) De Gea - Naughton - Hoedt
or
b) Fabianski - Jones - Kola
Rest of my def
Elliot
Otamendi - B.Davies - Lascelles
Thanx
B easily for me
b
Lads - help!
Can't for the life of me choose which of the options below to go for with my wildcard.
Grateful if you can say A/B/C for the group you think will score most points over the next couple of gameweeks!
a) De Gea, Lascelles, Trippier, Atsu, Jesus
b) De Gea, Mbemba, Kolasinac, Atsu, Jesus
C) Fabianski, Mbemba, Kolasinac, Salah, Rashford
Prob B but I hope you have a decent bench in case Mbemba doesn't play. Also am money itb?
Pick any 2 to play (but one has to be a defender)
A) Alexander-Arnold
B) Naughton
C) Mbemba
1) Loftus-Cheek
2) Carroll
I'm tempted to start TAA and RLC to be honest.
If TAA doesn't play I doubt he we come on at all therefore autosub kicks in. Being on set pieces a bonus and LIV due a clean sheet.
Also think RLC and Palace will break their goal drought against a team we least expect it (isn't this just something that happens in football)
I don't think playing the fixtures has worked well so far.
What are your thoughts?
B1.
Carroll has done bugger all and RLC could have scored a couple at the weekend.
This is my point. Fixture wise ppl will say Carroll but I think RLC has looked the more likely to get returns. Not a fan of rotating attackers either
Gareth Crooks just said this lol : -
'Sead Kolasinac is built like one of those north London brick toilets that withstood bombing raids during the Second World War,
😆 😆
Absolute beast I tell yah!
True!
after Sol Campbell, probably the best free transfer for Arsenal.
Get a room...! 😆
Is Kolasinac worth a hit now if you're gonna WC gw8?
DDG; Bavies, Suttner, Mee would be my def for this week
No, think your defence is fine this week.
At whch point will the rank swings become more steady rather than the huge rises and drops in rank we see in the early stages of the season
From my experience last year it was around GW14, it's going to gradually tail off every week. This was slightly different with a much higher average.
Six English players on the Golden Boy shortlist. That's more than any other country France (5), Italy (2), Spain (2).
The nominees in full:
Aarón Martin, Espanyol; Jean-Kévin Augustin, RB Leipzig; Rodrigo Bentacur, Juventus; Steven Bergwijn, PSV Eindhoven; Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Everton; Federico Chiesa, Fiorentina; Ousmane Dembélé, Barcelona; Amadou Diawara, Napoli; Kasper Dolberg, Ajax; Gianluigi Donnarumma, Milan; Gabriel Jesus, Manchester City; Joe Gomez, Liverpool; Benjamin Henrichs, Bayer Leverkusen; Borja Mayoral, Real Madrid; Kylian Mbappé, Paris Saint-Germain; Emre Mor, Celta Vigo; Reece Oxford, Borussia Mönchengladbach; Christian Pulisic, Borussia Dortmund; Marcus Rashford, Manchester United; Allan Saint-Maximim, Nice; Dominic Solanke, Liverpool; Theo Hernandez, Real Madrid; Youri Tielemans, Monaco; Enes Ünal, Villarreal; Kyle Walker-Peters, Tottenham.
Kyle Walker-Peters to just pip Mbappe I reckon.
Does it really need this many nominations (whatever on earth it is)
Only Rashford could have a sniff and I wouldn't have him in my top 5.
Elliot
Suttner Lowe mee (Ryan Dawson)
Ritchie Alli salah Carroll (Fraser)
Chica lukaku kane(c)
Bank 1.5
No ft
May I know if any transfer with hit is worthy? Thanks.
Thanks
Never paid much attention to TV and all that but this year something's wrong 😆
Squad Value: £100.01m
In the bank: £1.3m
Can't say I remember ever been that good in the transfer market! I've made over a million wheeling and dealing? Can't be right...
*Squad Value: £100.1m
Hegazi?
Made 0.2m off him but that was it lol
Yeah it definitely is, how'd you get 0.01m rise?
Manuel out till January
Guess he won't be back before the Neuer.
😆
Any ideas what to do here? 2FTs and £0.0
Elliot
Jones Alonso Naughton
Alli Salah Brady Atsu
Kane(c) Lukaku Fimino
(Foster, TC, Cedric, Mbemba)
Looking very good.
Maybe Caroll to RLC if you aren't planning anything next week.
Hold.
Looks good. I'd maybe swap Foster or Cedric and roll FT again
Cheers both
Mkhi or Silva on WC?
Silva, just
A) Save FT. Play one of Hegazi (ARS), Schindler (bur) or Mbemba (bha)
B) Hegazi > Mee
Blimey Ive gone 180 degrees around and now have a WC draft with a decent defence. Decided I need more balance in my team if its going to last till my next WC!
Fabianski Elliott
Kolasinac Alonso BDavies
Alli Ramsey DSilva
Lukaku Jesus Rooney
Rotate...Atsu Lascelles Naughton and RLC
Morata or Jesus?
Jesus
