No more no less. Three is the magic number.

In a week where we ponder shifting to a “power three” in our line-ups, the ScoutCast is reduced to its own Tri-force, as Jonty and Andy join me as part of a skeleton crew for this latest episode.

Don’t worry, somehow we still manage to string things out for 80 minutes. After all, there is much to discuss, not least the current emphasis on the big strikers and the demise of Bobby Firmino – the driving force behind my apparently ill-time Wildcard.

Talking of which, with Jonty’s own Wildcard booked in for the international break, he eagerly assesses the forthcoming “fixture swing” that promotes investment in Man City and Chelsea, among others.

Elsewhere your community questions guide us to examine the latest optimum formation and to check in with “piggy bank” Marcos Alonso’s after his cruel 58th-minute withdrawal in the Potteries.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

But he’s not so cool on a wc anyway with the tough fixtures ahead. Feels like a trf waiting to happen.

You're planning long-term so missing one game shouldn't be a consideration.

        If you're planning long-term, having Jones shouldn't be a consideration. 😉

For those that have him this is an ideal time to get off.

I’m in the same boat. Think I’ll remove him for Cedric. His next few after Palace aren’t great. Will get him back in after the fixtures get better.

They said Two months out which makes the whole thing sound a little suspicious.
Would be a great opportunity to pick up Lacazette or Jesus. Just a shame he fell just short of one more rise. Will only make 0.1 profit instead of 0.2

It does, also being reported that he's only alive due to wearing his seatbelt meaning the impact must have been high and the seatbelt is what has broken his ribs

Beat the KneeJerkers XI, results for GW6 and squad for GW7

GW6 saw a lot of transfer activity, and those who took the plunge were well rewarded: Otamendi, Silva, Salah and of course Aguero (C) brought in their points, and so the 11 most-transferred-in players totalled a respectable 59 points. It could have been so much more, with Morata just missing out on the starting XI and leaving his 17 points on the bench.

    https://fantasy.premierleague.com/a/team/4112369/event/6
    https://fantasy.premierleague.com/a/leagues/standings/907919/classic

This score was enough to remove eleven more competition entries, and so the Kneerjerkers’ league is now down to just over 70, from an original 327. For GW7, the following squad of most/transferred-in players is now final:
    deGea (49)
    Azpilicueta (117), Jones (112), Otamendi (87), Mbemba (79)
David Silva (VC, 144), Coutinho (117), Gross (99)
    Morata (C, 249), Aguero (114), Vardy (113)

    Bench: Elliot (43), Lascelles (74), Surman* (59), King* (55)
[*move ahead of Sane, Salah, Sterling and Mkhitaryan due to three Man City and/or lack of funds]

    https://snag.gy/FpDby9.jpg

As has been the case, most managers seem to transfer in players mainly due to their last score or their total points, but with scant regard to fixtures. And so this week our Kneejerkers have an uphill battle, with most of them pitted against difficult opponents.

Whereas I can afford both, or anyone. It's a dilemma - Kane v Hudd who've only conceded 3 goals all season whereas aca plays Brighton who tend to concede 2 in games against decent opposition. I think I'm plumping for Laca.

The other point is the captaincy. Surely Kaku will wipe poor Palace out, so that's another decision to make too.
