Kane delivers 13 points for a third successive away match to reward the 17.4% of managers who gave him the armband. Now it’s over to Romelu Lukaku to step up.

It was reported this morning that the Belgian was a doubt heading into today’s clash with Crystal Palace but, presumably, he has shaken off a knock sustained in training to start.

Expectations will be high and he is backed by over two million managers with the armband – his biggest total of the season so far.

Lukaku has scored in each one of his outings for Man United, aside from the Gameweek 3 win over Leicester City, though he missed a spot-kick in that outing. He collides with a Palace defence that have conceded more goals (13) and more shots on target (37) than any other team.

Phil Jones and Antonio Valencia also start, despite concerns on their fitness heading into today’s contest. They will go in search of a sixth clean sheet of the season, though Eric Bailly is benched and looks set to miss out on that possibility.

Old Trafford is undoubtedly the main focus this afternoon, with little Fantasy interest elsewhere.

Jamie Vardy is the top owned attacker on show in the other four matches; he’s backed by 11.6% of managers ahead of his trip to Bournemouth.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Hegazi’s 27.4% owners will be relieved to see the Egyptian retain his start in a West Brom back four at home to Watford.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Would you take a -8 and save WC or just WC?

    1. Aston-villain

      9 years, 15 days ago

-8 if you can see a turn of fixtures where you would make more than 3 changes on WC

Can anyone point me to a good guide for how to build TV by playing your wildcard over the international break? I swear I've seen something on the site before, but haven't been able to find it. Cheers!

Basically, identify those players you don't want to keep, and swap them immediately with players likely to rise over the break (www.fplstatistics.com).

If they rise twice in the break, you can either keep them, or sell for 0.1 profit.

If you have a player that you want to keep but looks like dropping, you can sell early, and buy back later in the week after the drop.

      • 11 Years
      9 years, 15 days ago

just buy players FPL Stats say might rise - but you will probably only get a .01 and you may not want to keep the player in your team any way - Surman, King, Mbemba Löwe are highest ranked to rise at the moment

IB price rises do not really happen much any more, price rises are slower due to higher threshholds, WC transfers don't count, non WC people wait until the day before the next game week to transfer players ...
