The time has come to roll out our regular post-Gameweek members’ article and check up on some of the stand-out performers across the most recent round of fixtures.

Much of our focus turns to midfield, where Arsenal, Man City and Everton’s big hitters finally hint at the form of last season.

West Ham and Newcastle’s budget strikers also catch the eye, while defenders from Man City and Bournemouth shrug off slow starts to make significant bids for our attention.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

kane a rotation threat with playing and captaining 2 england games then has real 3 days after BOU and pool the following week???

Wouldn't have thought so given his form and the fact that Spurs desperately need a PL win at Wembley.

Think so. Bit worried due to Spurs' form at Wembley but Bournemouth are terrible at the back and I can't see them setting up how Burnley or Swansea did.

Yeah I agree. Morata away at CPL could be an option if he's fit too, but think I'll go Kane.

Hasn't stopped Spurs in the past. Although with Llorente on board it's possible he might be rested for Bournemouth. Can't see him missing the Pool game

The only rotation threat to Kane is if he's already scored 2 goals and so ill take that! 😉

    Foster, Elliot
    Kola, Davies, Cedric, Mee, Hune
    Eriksen, Silva, Ritchie, Brady, Carroll
    Kane, Lukaku, Firmino

1 FT, 0 ITB. Think I will keep Firmino as still think he is underpriced and want Liv attacker as they love big games. Also he has already been rested.

What do you think of this team? Any obvious missing? Any suggestions?

You could always do Lukaku to Jesus but I'm not sure if I'd be doing that in view of the Liverpool and Hudds fixtures. Otherwise, looks very good to me, mate

1 out of those. I think there is a wider gap between Joselu and Ayew than there is between Silva and Sterling (partly because I think B. Silva might play some CL matches, making Sterling more nailed in the PL). Would you consider Monreal, Sterling, Coutinho, Joselu? I think that one might get you the most points.

Are there any tools available that will allow me to put in the name of a team, eg Newcastle, and it will automatically rank other teams that rotate well with them? In this case I already know Burnley rotate well, but I'd like to be able to put in a team then that tool ranks the other teams in terms of suitability. I am a member so perhaps there is something on the site I have missed. Thanks.

    A. Silva

    Anyone Struggling with WC:
    1. If you have lukaku > keep him!
If you don't then look to get back in for GW12.
    2. MCI, CHE, TOT, STK, BUR, SWA, LEI all have pretty good fixtures for 6-10GWs.
    3. Think about the formation you want to play until the New Year. Base your team around this.
    4. If you haven't already got one, Create a Spine of 3 solid players that will never leave that time period unless injured i.e. (Jones, Eriksen,Kane).
    5. Watch the price rises through the two week period.

Hope this helps gain some clarity

    Current squad:

    De Gea
    Davies, Kolasinac, Bertrand Mee
    Salah, Brady Ritchie
    Lacazette Kane Lukaku

    Subs: Carroll, RLC, Wimmer

    0.6 ITB

I am currently 116,000 OR and have my WC. What changes should I make for next GW, I'm a bit stuck tbh. Would like 2 city attackers in (only 1 ft) but even if I do Lukaku>>>Jesus I won't have enough funds for a City mid.

Brady for now, fixtures and set pieces, also cheaper than the other 2. Richarlison looks the most promising but poor immediate fixtures, by the time I consider him it might be as a 3rd mid with an upgrade in defence or for the power from 3 if Vardy underperforms

as much as I hate to say it, Fellaini has to be chucked in there just because he's an equal goal threat to everyone of those players listed. secondly Choupo with the fixtures upcoming.

As far as I know yes ... he likes to have a swing at it and chance his luck for a goal
With a 3rd goal he is beginning to look like last year's Capoue .... but who knows for the future

I definitely prefer Richarlison to Ritchie - was 6.0 vs 5.9 at the time I bought him and glad I did
Gross has a couple of good matches, but no Hemed up front, if he gets points at home to Everton then he could move up to 5.8 and then I would cash in for 5.6 and would get Fellaini

See the Ritchie is injured and even if he plays I don't see Newcastle scoring away to Soton
I would swap Ritchie for Fellaini and then hope to trade up Gross to Richarlison after Watford's next two fixtures

That's pretty ok to me, don't necessarily need 3 city. You could consider David Luiz at 5.9 at the back if you want a Chelsea player.

    A Dunk/Duffy( EVE,SOU,STK)

    Who are more stern defensively?
    Burnley or Brighton?

Dunk definitely has that added set piece threat!

Think it's pretty solid, not huge on the midfield if you ever start playing a midfield 4 though, so have an escape plan in mind in case. For example, you could always do one of the strikers (if they start underperforming) to Vardy or some such, and improve a mid.

I think I have cracked the wild monkey:

    Ellope
    Cedric, Fonte, Bavies, Otamendi, Ward
    Richarlison, Fellaini, TC, Coutinho, Eriksen
    Kane, Jesus, Vardy

    The Thinking:
Have options to play 523, 433 or 343. Nice flexibility here with good fixtures for the defenders bar Bavies esp as there is an increase in cs this season.
Good value defenders with no one over 6 mill.
Takes advantage of the fixtures although no CHS coverage. Jesus will be Morata when fit.
No CTY mids but Jesus provides some coverage. Not bothered with owning Silva as he has no goal threat.

    The Plan:
Another fixture change in week 12 so saving a transfer will be necessary to bring in Lukaku et al.

Your thoughts, feedback, feedforward, rating are encouraged. Cheers! 

      Azpi/Stones/Jones/Bavies/Ward
      Silva/Eriksen/Fellaini/King/Choupo

You have gone Azpi and Silva where I have gone Coutinho and Cedric.

Jonty made a very good point that there is a lot of good value in the D this year and Azpi could be covered with cheaper ds.

Not fancy Pope with all those goal attempt they are conceding - 82 in last 4 weeks?

Yeah I just think from a fixture basis I want some Chelsea Defense... look at the run of CS they went on last year for example. coutinho I agree is a good asset to have but could be equal between him and silva with fixture quality of city. Pope crossed my mind but I have Ward and don't want to play double Burnley I think thats a little too much, maybe ill change my mind. definitely think this will be close to my WC XI though.

      Why the expensive back line?

What happened to the Jafalad Jammy Jumpers? 😉

      I imagined you with:

The changing nature of the game I guess, Doos, when cs seem to rule the roost this season. There's lots of great value in D this year and none of my ds are over 6 mill. I know you like Otamendi too.

Not sure Mbemba and Mariappa will necessarily start each gameweek.

Never mind Tosey with his three STK defenders - where is John Reason? 😡

          *waves fond farewell to Alexis*

I guess it's back to plan A, then.

As for your team, I really don't advise Fonte. I won't be touching Richarlison with a bargepole. I think that I will do better with Rashford, than you will, with Fellaini.

          But I like it!

PS Ryan has already scored more than Pope ...

            Thanks for this!

Pope 5.3ppg vs Ryan 3.7 ppg and Popey has only played 4-5 matches yet faced 82 goal attempts in last 4.

Arguably, the bigger picture suggests that BUR are likely to be the better team with better resources to cope in the PL.

    Choupo better?

Easy, Richarlison the better Watford pick. He's an attacking midfielder, actually their most attacking player, and Doucoure is not. Doucoure plays deep, I highly doubt his goals will continue. Richarlison is direct, takes players on and likes to shoot.

I feel Richalison has more to offer than Doucoure.. he had the second most number of shots this week, only sanchez hit more shots and it was against the Baggies... He also has more touches in the box compared to Doucoure..

Choupo not a bad option too..

      Cheers

Richarlison more attacking midfielder and looks quality. Doucouré plays further back.

I a bit suspicious of players who have a brace and not much else to their name - e.g. Choupo
Even with a freak brace, against Man U of all teams, he's currently 30vs40 against Richarlison

Richarlo has scored in three different away matches, plus has a couple of assists too
