Sunday’s action gets underway at Goodison Park as Everton and Arsenal go head-to-head in the 1.30pm kick-off.

The Gunners seek a fifth clean sheet in six as they attempt to bounce back from last week’s late capitulation at Watford.

Arsene Wenger recalls both Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey, who both missed out through injury at Vicarage Road.

Sitting in just 2% of FPL squads, Sanchez has suffered a hugely underwhelming start to the season and has mustered just two assists, though both have arrived in his last two appearances.

Mesut Ozil is handed a first start since Gameweek 5, while Alexandre Lacazette is the most captained player for Sunday’s early encounter – over 143,000 have handed the Frenchman the armband, though all four of his league strikes have arrived at the Emirates so far.

Everton’s disastrous start to the season has ensured that most of us have steered well clear of their main men.

Gylfi Sigurdsson and Wayne Rooney remain their likeliest source of points, though Dominic Calvert-Lewin is worth monitoring as a budget frontman.

Priced at 5.0, the youngster starts for the fourth successive Gameweek and may yet prove a viable option if the Toffees can find their form ahead of clashes against Leicester, Watford, Palace, Southampton, West Ham and Huddersfield in the next six.

Xhaka on for around 3.8 PPG. Not as good as Gross, but not bad for all those who started the season with him. All the 'casuals' who bought him GW2 still managed 3 PPG out of him with isn't a disaster by any means, unless they sold him before the last two GWs!

Matic/Kante are also near that PPG surely.

If you follow Arsenal at all you would know that Xhaka would be nailed on and fizzing alot of shots from distance and getting a fair percentage of free kicks and corners. The question was can he cleanup his fouls. Sorry but calling casual on this one only shows ignorance.

He will. This isn't an easy game so they won't rest him (that's getting kept for the Palace game)

Rose isn't fit enough yet, he'll play midweek to get fitness. They won't play him in the league yet (that's getting kept for the Palace game)

How do you guys see spurs Liverpool panning out? No dembele or wanyama, spurs with wingbacks, Wembley

Maybe it'll be different to their games the past few years which are usually tight

I need a hat trick from Kane, all goals assisted by Davies with a brace from Salah to make it 3-2

I know that Lacazette will be subbed off in 20 mins so I might as well get my frustrations in now rather than late. It really annoys me that Laca is coming off at the 70th minute. Strikers score a bulk of goals in the last 10 mins of games because of fatigue in the opposition defence.

    Screw you Wenger.

    1. HashAttack
      9 years, 17 days ago

Imagine if Lukaku only ever got 70 minutes ... how many less goals he would have
Laca's 70 minutes limit makes him very unappealing

Agree, although im not sure how quick and fit laca would be between 70-90

    Afternoon guys,

Had WC'd to this team heading into GW8 and pretty pleased with it, especially with Doucoure and Monreal coming off my bench this week for Cresswell and Sterling.

    De Gea,
    Lascelles, VVD, Monreal, Ward,
    Coutinho, Sterling, Atsu, Doucoure,
    Jesus, Kane, Lukaku

£0.2m itb and 2 FT but not even sure i want to make any transfers, possibly get Cresswell out and generate some additional funds??

    Would appreciate some thoughts...cheers all
