Pep sunk his teeth into our Gameweeks, while an old moggy took a chunk out of my partner’s arm, depriving me of my appearance on this week’s ScoutCast. I’m not sure which was more painful.

At the mercy of the local A&E, Jonty, Andy and Az became my other emergency service as they stepped up on this latest episode.

Inevitably, Guardiola’s Man City teamsheet dominates your questions and the ensuing chatter. Elsewhere the boys re-appraise Kane after his Wembley haul, revisit Liverpool with their fixtures about to swing and consider whether the heavy-hitting midfielders are poised for a renaissance ahead of Gameweek 10.

As far as I know, I’ve edited out all the “pussy” jokes.

      The players you’ve mentionted could be directly swapped for other good assets, so I don’t see the problem with nothing ITB in your case.

    Another day, another barrage of comments about Pep’s rotation. Here’s my two pence:

    Will Sterling, silva, Sane, kun all score well? Yes

    Will there be occasional weeks where they are rotated and return zero? Yes

    How do you solve this? Have a bench of regular starters so that, on the odd week your city player doesn’t play, you don’t have to settle for the blank.

    My take on this is that this makes Sterling and Sane the best options as they take up less of the budget but provide excellent returns when they do play. But interested to hear other people’s views...

          If u plan to downgrade Bavies to a 4.5, whom are u planning to upgrade and to whom then? Is he worth having over Otamendi is the question, given the fact that u can possibly still get some good CS points time and again from ur now 4.5 defender. Otamendi ain't gonna score a goal every game u know.

            I will probaly use the money to get 3 premium striker 10m+. (Kane, Kaku, Morata)

            Will have money in the back to upgrade Wimmer and some money to upstage Silve to Spurs mid too.

            In short I will have a lot of flexibility if go for a 4.5m defender.

      Otamendi on 3 YC, so maybe Stones a better bet for 0.3 less? But once Kompany is back I expect rotation there. You could go for a 4.5 option if you're going to invest that extra money in midfield/up front. Depends on what tram structure you want for the coming weeks.
