Pep sunk his teeth into our Gameweeks, while an old moggy took a chunk out of my partner’s arm, depriving me of my appearance on this week’s ScoutCast. I’m not sure which was more painful.

At the mercy of the local A&E, Jonty, Andy and Az became my other emergency service as they stepped up on this latest episode.

Inevitably, Guardiola’s Man City teamsheet dominates your questions and the ensuing chatter. Elsewhere the boys re-appraise Kane after his Wembley haul, revisit Liverpool with their fixtures about to swing and consider whether the heavy-hitting midfielders are poised for a renaissance ahead of Gameweek 10.

As far as I know, I’ve edited out all the “pussy” jokes.

    Completely wasted my transfers before the pressers. Lukaku not dropping when he's at -259?!

      That does actually sound a bit odd
      I've seen players drop when nowhere near -100
      To not drop at -200 seems hard to believe

      FPL Stats saying they've unerathed a new rule for Lukaku and Mkhi. I don't think it's manual interventon - just FPL stats playing catch up.

        Given the amount of effort that goes into the work on this site, I doubt they'd specifically identify 2 players as being outliers when they're continually calibrating.

          Sorry- I said that wrong. The rule has been discovered for the set of circumstances that those two players are currently in. It isn't a specific rule for those players.

              Depends what it is really. I'm only going off the 'news' section on FPL stats. They say it should be clearer by the weekend, which tells me they've a good handle on it but it needs confirmation.

    Have 2 FT so have to burn one.

    A) Vardy out and Firmino in. Yes, he has been out of his form in PL, but did two goals and assist against Maribor.

    B) Davies out and Mee or VVD in.

          So you're tempted by gomez? Won't coutinho / firmino get bps in good fixtures. Fixtures look so good though for a 4.5m defender. Liverpool are poor defensively if compared to spurs/man u, but not to West brom/Palace who we have no qualms about paying over 4.5m for
