Pep sunk his teeth into our Gameweeks, while an old moggy took a chunk out of my partner’s arm, depriving me of my appearance on this week’s ScoutCast. I’m not sure which was more painful.

At the mercy of the local A&E, Jonty, Andy and Az became my other emergency service as they stepped up on this latest episode.

Inevitably, Guardiola’s Man City teamsheet dominates your questions and the ensuing chatter. Elsewhere the boys re-appraise Kane after his Wembley haul, revisit Liverpool with their fixtures about to swing and consider whether the heavy-hitting midfielders are poised for a renaissance ahead of Gameweek 10.

As far as I know, I’ve edited out all the “pussy” jokes.

    None of the ITKs on COYS or SC have mentioned anything about Kane being injured.

      I don't look at your team and think 'needs WC'. I'd be tempted to downgrade Kola/Davies (maybe both), and upgrade your midfield.

      Obviously keep Kola this week, but Doucoure is not an ideal 3rd mid.

    I see most people going for Duffy. Why? Fixtures/Watford injury? Kiko's stats are better.

    -- B) Hunemeier vs. Rangel
    Rangel might get a couple of games, but once he stops, will his price plummet further?

    How to get Daniels in?

    -- 1) Ward > Mee
    Mee will score eventually. Prefer Ward on the BAPS, though.

    -- 2) Sterling > Pedro
    Sterling is better, but I have both him & Kun on a WC. 120 mins from both at midweek are scary. Probably a temporary move.

    -- 3) Duffy/K Femenia > Dunk
    This would make me sad as the former register better for BAPS

      Not advisable for Pep rotation, any Liverpool or Aresnal alternative could be better otherwise save and hope Pep will not surprise us. It is same for me anyway, just relying on this hope.

    Can't decide, Sterling or Atsu out for Richarlison?

    Atsu seems obvious but then I can use extra money to get Kane next week if I get rid of Sterling. If I transfer Atsu out I'll have to take a -4 next week. Plus there's the rotation issue with Sterling.

      It doesn’t look like I’m going to have him this week either. It’s ether him or a Liverpool mid.

      Next week I can potentially bring him in for Choupo too, I don’t think Watford are good defensively however so I think Choupo could get points this week too

            Valid point - TC is always going to be a minefield, whereas free hit gives you opportunities from lots of different outlets. As a lover of the differential, the thought of having Sanchez and Hazard in my team with plum fixtures and a combined ownership of 7.5% is too good an offer to turn down.

      Think keeping the special chips until the back end of the season adds more intrigue to the game, and hence more enjoyment.

      Plotting those blanks and doubles etc is more fun that just saying "my team has a few dodgy fixtures this week"

    I suppose a lot of these questions about mids can even come down to what sort of players we like.

    No doubt that something like Sanchez Salah Richarlison Sane is far more exciting to watch than Eriksen Silva Coutinho and Ritchie.

                  Yep, Azpilicueta's stock is on the rise while Alonso's is dropping like a stone. Nice that he might be playing RWB too, but keep Zappacosta in mind.
