Pep sunk his teeth into our Gameweeks, while an old moggy took a chunk out of my partner’s arm, depriving me of my appearance on this week’s ScoutCast. I’m not sure which was more painful.

At the mercy of the local A&E, Jonty, Andy and Az became my other emergency service as they stepped up on this latest episode.

Inevitably, Guardiola’s Man City teamsheet dominates your questions and the ensuing chatter. Elsewhere the boys re-appraise Kane after his Wembley haul, revisit Liverpool with their fixtures about to swing and consider whether the heavy-hitting midfielders are poised for a renaissance ahead of Gameweek 10.

As far as I know, I’ve edited out all the “pussy” jokes.

    Important message from the FPL stats guy:

    "Update 26th Oct 2017

    The first set of rule changes identified on the 13th Oct are now understood and coded. It has not been possible to identify all of the players impacted historically by this change so some surprise drops (or delayed rises) may occur over the new few weeks.

    A further set of rule changes has been confirmed. This is currently impacting Lukaku and Mkhitaryan. The changes should become clearer by the weekend."

      yeah I'd be inclined to do A, but you have three City players so there's an argument to do Sterling. I'd do Carroll rather RLC to Richarlison.

      you'd know better than me what about a triple transfer downgrading players Davies/Cedric & Vardy to upgrade TC to Salah? I'd keep Sterling and Hazard.

        Sterling's fine btw, 0 mins last weekend, 120 mins on Tuesday. Fine for another 90 mins on Sat and on the bench vs Napoli.

        Pep does seem to be giving players a 4 or 5 game run then benching them for an entire game.

    What do you think about Lanzini ? I know West Ham are bad but he had 2 assists vs Spurs yesterday and he has a nice record vs Palace: 4 goals in last 4 games vs Palace.
