Pep sunk his teeth into our Gameweeks, while an old moggy took a chunk out of my partner’s arm, depriving me of my appearance on this week’s ScoutCast. I’m not sure which was more painful.

At the mercy of the local A&E, Jonty, Andy and Az became my other emergency service as they stepped up on this latest episode.

Inevitably, Guardiola’s Man City teamsheet dominates your questions and the ensuing chatter. Elsewhere the boys re-appraise Kane after his Wembley haul, revisit Liverpool with their fixtures about to swing and consider whether the heavy-hitting midfielders are poised for a renaissance ahead of Gameweek 10.

As far as I know, I’ve edited out all the “pussy” jokes.

    Personally tempted to double up saints look tighter in defense and if I don't double up against Brighton what team am I going to double them up against?

    Think Im going Kiko over the Brighton defenders. Silva a great coach and they will need to sort themselves defensively if they want to be pretenders for Europe.

      Brighton's fixtures are great for the next few. Watford's are great come GW17.

    Having watched the scoutcast and read this article, I'm kind of disappointed to learn that Mark has his own house, a partner and a cat.

    I always thought that Mark, Jonty, Andy, Granville and AZ all lived in one big house together, and they were doing the scoutcast from their own various bedrooms in the same house.

    It's kinda killed the romance of the game for me somewhat, a bit like when The Waltons stopped being on TV.

      They don't seem to be changing prices midweek as much, tending to leave most changes on a weekend.

      Don't expect too much movement on highly owned players tonite. Drops are less likely than they used to be or Fplstats is still coming to terms with new rules/ thresholds.

      It seems like the game is giving everyone more of a chance to act on team news / pressers, than risking earlier transfers.

      It's like a pub quiz. If same couple of teams win it every week, gets boring and losers stop coming. If everyone has a more even chance of winning it's more fun and more people come.

    If you have pope and Elliot who would you play . I know burnley is home but newc have looked very solid defensively . Also got a nice cs away to Swansea whereas burnley conceded from west brim at home and crystal palace missed two sitters against em (lucky cs) . Was leaning Elliot

    A backline of Alonso, Daniels and Moreno looks very exciting on paper. However, I doubt it will return much points tbh

      It won't people get wrapped up in attacking threat but it's the clean sheets you want and usually get by playing the fixtures, attacking returns are a bonus and usually difficult to predict
