Pep sunk his teeth into our Gameweeks, while an old moggy took a chunk out of my partner’s arm, depriving me of my appearance on this week’s ScoutCast. I’m not sure which was more painful.

At the mercy of the local A&E, Jonty, Andy and Az became my other emergency service as they stepped up on this latest episode.

Inevitably, Guardiola’s Man City teamsheet dominates your questions and the ensuing chatter. Elsewhere the boys re-appraise Kane after his Wembley haul, revisit Liverpool with their fixtures about to swing and consider whether the heavy-hitting midfielders are poised for a renaissance ahead of Gameweek 10.

As far as I know, I’ve edited out all the “pussy” jokes.

        TM what do you make of this? Update 26th Oct 2017

        The first set of rule changes identified on the 13th Oct are now understood and coded. It has not been possible to identify all of the players impacted historically by this change so some surprise drops (or delayed rises) may occur over the new few weeks.

        A further set of rule changes has been confirmed. This is currently impacting Lukaku and Mkhitaryan. The changes should become clearer by the weekend.

            1. Why does it have to be long-term? When you transfer a player out you are also allowed to bring them back later. 😕
            2. Pogba isn't expected back till December.
            3. Chelsea's defense isn't in shambles. It is the centre midfield where there has been a huge problem this season and that has put the defense under pressure. Now, for the first time this season, they actually have 3 CMs fit and Kanté is also back in training. You will see things start to improve in terms of goals conceded as a result.

                I'd keep him this week if possible. But I'd also get Coutinho or Salah if possible. Depends if you can do both.

                If it's either/or then I think Liverpool have the better immediate fixtures.

      My theory on Lukaku and Mki not dropping is that they were wild carded IN in mass, not counting towards rises, and that’s taken into account on their drops too. In effect giving them a huge drop threshold

      We need FPL to open up their price changes just like the stock market. Make it transparent and fun to play the system. This random making up rules and changing the system is getting tiresome.

        Yeah LIV have the fixtures, he might come good. Dunno about Sanchez yet though, Jonty was bigging him up a bit much. The price is still too high imo and you need to be captaining him at that price really? ARS fix turn a little bit sour with City, TOT, MUN in their next 5 after Swans.

          Haven't listened to the scoutcast actually. If that's the case I'm annoyed he's promoted that much because I want him all to myself 😛

          I don't think he'll come any cheaper than 11.8 and I want to shift Lukaku. At that price, I can replace him with either Aguero or Sanchez and I fancy Sanchez right now. (not least due to City rotation issues)

          Week after I can downgrade Hazard and get Aguero if it looks like he'll start. Of course plans don't always work out like that and I may well end up getting Jesus instead of Sanchez tomorrow, or Jesus and Ramsey for a hit, who knows 😀

        That's my plan, but I'm on wildcard. I still think Firmino is too good to keep blanking, and felt he was - by leaps and bounds - Pool's best player against United. He should have had multiple assists in that match.
