The first of two Sunday fixtures gets underway at the Amex Stadium as Brighton entertain Southampton in the 1.30pm kick-off.

From a Fantasy perspective, Pascal Gross has been the standout attacking asset among these two sides this season.

Owned by over 16% of Fantasy Premier League managers after bagging two goals and four assists, the German has been involved in 80% of the Seagulls’ efforts in front of their own fans.

Yet it’s the visitors’ Manolo Gabbiadini who is the most captained from this match, with 7,150 managers handing him the armband on the back of his brace in Gameweek 8.

However, the Saints’ record on the road – two goals for and against in three – suggests that clean sheets may be the likeliest source of points for both sides.

The visitors are without Maya Yoshida today, with the Japan international dropping to the bench –
over 80,000 FPL managers drafted him in last week.

Of the two, it’s Chris Hughton’s men who have the most encouraging schedule for those looking to invest.

Brighton seek a a third clean sheet in five today and, with a trip to Swansea preceding visits from Stoke and Palace in the upcoming four Gameweeks, centre-halves Shane Duffy and Lewis Dunk could play their way into our plans.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Feel like I've gotten very luck with a (small) green arrow so far, despite having Kane and aguero, but somehow everyone in my ML has smashed me, so I've plummeted down in that! That's the way the cookie crumbles I guess

Exactly! Last thing any of us expected from Stoke this week was a clean sheet.

Let's hope! Duffy haul incoming 😉

You will have more joy picking a squad of good form/fixtures then not allowing yourself hits under any circumstances unless you can't field an 11. It's the transfers that are the killers

Currently on 28 points. Salah captain as I am sure a lot of you went for. Sold Hazard and Davis for Salah and Richarlison. Both my former players have now scored. Oh and my 2 free transfers taking away goal scorers wasn't the worst decision, late decision to sell Kane for Lacca at -4 was. All rough no smooth!

Good example of transfers so often doing more harm than good, I'm really trying to lay off them as well. Sold Ramsey for Sterling 2 weeks ago after a run of blanks, then Ramsey scores back to back while Sterling benched!

That's sad mate! There will be brighter days up ahead. Don't spend too much time on thinking about the transfers. Take it easy.

I sold Hazard and Sterling for Salah and Richarlison (-4). They were the right moves but sometimes the FPL Gods decide you need a good shafting. I think I just need to sacrifice more goats.

Had a decent GW after so many reds. Do you think I should save FT ? 0 ITB. Plan is to save now and bring Lukaku next GW with no hit.

    Elliot
    Jones Dunk Naughton Francis Clark
    Hazard Salah Sterling Grob RLC
    Kane Jesus Firmino

Kaku is consistent but not exciting. Always thinking of when to get rid of him, but then he scores or assist and does his 90 min more or less every game. In the long run that is FPL he might be a boring but essential choice..

And I keep telling you every team has to be shown a minimum number of times. They use the picks on the crap teams first and save for juicy fixtures like Man Utd V Liverpool (0-0) etc. even though Citeh will have won the league with 10 games to go.
