After Man City got the better of Arsenal at the Etihad, we’re treated to a pair of 4.30pm encounters as the curtain comes down on Gameweek 11.

Chelsea’s clash with Man United at Stamford Bridge sees two of the top seven Fantasy Premier League captains go head-to-head.

Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata have been handed the armband by 17.9% and 2.8% respectively, though both have struggled for form and failed to score in three of their last four league appearances.

After bagging a first double-digit haul of the season last week, Eden Hazard could emerge as a differential – he looks likely to be handed a central role due to the return of N’Golo Kante.

Lukaku was the most sold player ahead of Gameweek 11, having failed to score in his last six in all competitions.

Yet with back-to-back home matches against Newcastle and Brighton preceding a trip to Watford, interest will surely pick up again over the break.

Everton and Watford collide at Goodison in the other fixture.

While the Toffees’ shambolic start to the season has ensured that most of us steer clear, the Hornets’ Richarlison goes into this one heavily backed.

Over 16% of FPL managers have acquired the young Brazilian, who has served up three goals, two assists and 36 of his 51 FPL points away from home.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Looks clear to me that Chelsea players are now worth stocking up on for the long run, now Kante is back.

Worth swapping Lukaku and Davies for Azpi and Morata for free?

Alternatively, could swap out Jesus, Davies and Kola for Azpi, Mee and Morata -4. Would leave 0.6 ITB as well to upgrade my bench.

Any thought? All subject to international injuries etc.

      Don't get rid of Lukaku.

The second option is probably more appealing.

Do the second option. Dont get Kaku out. Azpi has no injury probs as not in Spain squad. Mee also no problem. Morata doesn't play all matches so do it if u have price problems

      Thanks All

I'll certainly be waiting for the international games, but there should be cause for concern price-wise with the second option.

Should hopefully be a hit well spent. Nailed-on players with good fixtures for the rest of the year. Plus cash to upgrade Mbemba etc.

The only downside is only having Sterling from City. But once Lukaku's fixtures turn I can probably address that.

Monreal, Eriksen, Abraham > Mee, RLC, Lukaku(C) for a hit?

My GW12 line-up will look like this:
    DDG
    Jones Mee Naughton
    Salah(VC) Silva Richarlison RLC
    Kane Lukaku(C) Morata

    Elliot Tarroll Long Otamendi

Kane Morata Vardy a decent frontline on WC?

Or Lukaku (or Kun), Kane and Abraham and beef up RLC (to C-M or Zaha) to rotate between 3-5-2, 3-4-3 and 4-4-2 depending on fixtures?

    Pope / Elliot
Mee / Duffy / Jones / Daniels / Moreno (or any other 4.5 and below)
    Salah / Eriksen / Sterling / Gross / RLC
    Front 3

    Thoughts appreciated 🙂

I have Vardy and if I had another wildcard right now he'd be out.

Going forward I think if you want returns from your third striker, get Morata or Jesus; if you want value Abraham is your man allowing more investment in midfield.

Yet another poor captaincy choice (Kane), benched points (Ward, Ramsey) and I feel like I need another wildcard 4 weeks on from using it but at least Jesus, Silva and Azpi salvaged my gameweek today.

Scored at least 42 points every week, might not manage it but I want to keep that up for the whole season.

    Krul* (Elliot)

    4-5-1 looks pretty tempting with
    Kane, Abraham, Murray up top
    Salah-Sterling-Sane-Richarlison-Mane midfield
and Jones, Stones, Vert, Mee, Dunk at the back

Basically swapping Lukaku for Mane and making the most of the change at the back
