After Man City got the better of Arsenal at the Etihad, we’re treated to a pair of 4.30pm encounters as the curtain comes down on Gameweek 11.

Chelsea’s clash with Man United at Stamford Bridge sees two of the top seven Fantasy Premier League captains go head-to-head.

Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata have been handed the armband by 17.9% and 2.8% respectively, though both have struggled for form and failed to score in three of their last four league appearances.

After bagging a first double-digit haul of the season last week, Eden Hazard could emerge as a differential – he looks likely to be handed a central role due to the return of N’Golo Kante.

Lukaku was the most sold player ahead of Gameweek 11, having failed to score in his last six in all competitions.

Yet with back-to-back home matches against Newcastle and Brighton preceding a trip to Watford, interest will surely pick up again over the break.

Everton and Watford collide at Goodison in the other fixture.

While the Toffees’ shambolic start to the season has ensured that most of us steer clear, the Hornets’ Richarlison goes into this one heavily backed.

Over 16% of FPL managers have acquired the young Brazilian, who has served up three goals, two assists and 36 of his 51 FPL points away from home.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    Thoughts on Jesus, Davies and Ritchie to Mee, Lukaku and Richarlison for a -4?

    Leaves me with no City but comfortable with that for now.

      Haha I thought I'd get this.

      I'd have to ditch one of Salah or Hazard to get a City midfielder.

    My captain scores in all gws - 26, 12, 2, 12, 4, 22, 12, 4, 2, 10, 4 = 110...

    If i had captained the highest scorer - 26, 12, 22, 12, 20, 26, 32, 26, 32, 16, 16 = 240

    My Kane captain scores were 4,4,4 and 2... While i missed captaining him for his 13 and 16 hauls..

    No wonder i m jumping off now.. Anyone else doing worse??

      Pretty sure an awful lot of people have those Kane(c) no-scores for those "plum" home fixtures.

      Kane non-owners the big winners

    The Man City game could’ve been a disaster but ended well. I have Aguero, Jesus and Silva. The Sterling/Sane combo should’ve had a goal and assist each before Kun did anything and Jesus wasn’t even on the pitch. Very relieved 🙂

    actually disappointed with 60, given I captained the wrong player and had a really good Saturday. Thought the search for a place in the top 10k was finally on, but now set back around 340,000 places where I was just around 260,000 places behind it yesterday makes it an annoying week, but at least I'm making progress.

    This Spurs at Wembley issue is a real problem. What’s the deal? There’s something really wrong when you’re not confident in captaining Kane against Palace at “home”. I was more or less certain that he’d blank today, so I opted for Kun.

              Cold hard points over value any day - points are permanent, value is temporary .... Lukaku, Kane, Morata 65, 64, 63 points respectively - i’ll take my chance that the cream will rise to the top by the end of the season ....

      It is quite difficult to beat teams that come to nick the game 1-0. Spurs should look to get more out of Eriksen and give him more creative responsibility IMO.

        That’s the odd thing. Everyone’s talking about Lukaku being a flat track bully against weak opposition. Those lesser teams should have the same agenda going up against United away. Yet, he finds a way to put a couple past them. Usually around the 80 minute mark.

        Yup, not gonna do any transfers that soon, but still wanted to ask for some opinions.

          I feel it unbalances your team too much, not ideal having to either play 2 4.5m defs every week or one of RLC or Carroll

            You once said that you like my eventual team. 😀

            DDG
            Otamendi Jones Mee
            Salah DSilva Richarlison RLC
            Kane Kaku Morata

            Elliot Tarroll Naughton Long

            Will look like these when Ota's back. The moves will leave me 0.3ITB and could upgrade Naughton > Daniels or someone else.

              If you've got someone like Daniels as an option who can play every week due to attacking threat then yes, worth going for it. It's just the double of Naughton and Mee that I don't like. Midfield and forwards are obviously great.

        How to bring Kaku then? What to do with my defence?

    I was all set on bringing back Lukaku for Newcastle at home but I'm really not sure after tonight's display.
    United looked so short of ideas going forward and don't look worth investment until maybe Pogba returns.
    Newcastle and Brighton have also looked like they will keep plenty more clean sheets this season.
    Glad I've 2 weeks to decide.
    Thinking Kane, Morata and Tammy might be worth sticking with a bit longer.

      That's been on my mind too - everyone seems convinced that hauls are on the cards over the next few games.

      But without Pogba, I'm not so sure. Both Newcastle a

      I think if you have him you keep but if you haven't I'm not sure he is worth bringing in at the moment.

        Seriously though, do you really think anyone on here has a handle on price rises for a long list of 15 players over a 2 week International break? And if any one does answer, are you reallt going to act upon it ?

        You might as well is ask for the winning lottery ticket number for next week 😉

    Would you wait until Coutinho returns or trade? If yes, which option is the most appealing to you?

    A Coutinho --> Mahrez
    B Coutinho & Cedric --> Mane & Moreno
    C Coutinho & T Carroll --> Mane & Grijuc

    Thanks
