Tammy Abraham is rated 50:50 for Swansea City’s home clash against Bournemouth. Eric Bailly and Phil Jones are both ruled out for Manchester United. West Ham pair Marko Arnautovic and Andre Ayew are in contention for the visit of Leicester, while Patrick van Aanholt is back in the frame for Palace’s Selhurst Park meeting with Stoke City.

Here’s our summary of the key team news so far, with an array of big press conferences still to come this afternoon.

Jose Mourinho has been the latest Premier League manager to reveal his hand this morning, confirming that both Phil Jones and Eric Bailly miss the Old Trafford encounter with Brighton. Chris Smalling therefore looks assured of his start, with Marcos Rojo perhaps deployed alongside him having impressed on his return to the starting XI on Wednesday. Mourinho also revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will again feature from the bench, while Paul Pogba will start but “cannot go more than 65 to 70 minutes” before being withdrawn.

Steve Sidwell remains the only absentee for the visitors.

Marko Arnautovic and Andre Ayew are both available for West Ham United’s home meeting with Leicester City tonight, but Michail Antonio and James Collins remain out of the picture, despite a return to training this week. Manager David Moyes is preserving that pair for a possible return at Everton in midweek.

Meanwhile, Foxes boss Claude Puel has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the trip to the London Stadium, with Robert Huth and Matty James the only absentees.

Patrick van Aanholt has recovered from a hamstring injury, and is available for Crystal Palace’s home encounter against Stoke City. But Lee Chung-yong and Connor Wickham remain out.

Jack Butland and Geoff Cameron are still sidelined for the Potters, while Mark Hughes revealed Xherdan Shaqiri is “okay”, having only been substituted during Monday night’s 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion as a precaution due some tightness he felt before the match.

Rafa Benitez will be without the suspended Isaac Hayden for the visit of Watford to St James’ Park but could risk Mikel Merino as his replacement. The Spaniard is back in training after a back problem, though he could be protected for the trip to West Brom on Tuesday. Left-back Paul Dummett is another who is close to a return and could feature against the Hornets.

For Watford, Kiko Femenia has trained fully this week following the leg problem that forced him over during the 2-0 win over West Ham United, and is available. Troy Deeney serves outs his three-match ban at St James’ Park.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the home clash against West Bromwich Albion. Erik Lamela is close to a first-team return, and could feature among the substitutes.

Baggies interim boss Gary Megson has also escaped any added injuries ahead of the trip to Wembley, with James Morrison and Nacer Chadli his only absentees.

Swansea City head coach Paul Clement has revealed that Tammy Abraham has been unable to train prior to today due to a back injury, and is rated as “50/50†for the home fixture with Bournemouth. Wilfried Bony is set to earn a recall should the Chelsea loanee miss out.

Junior Stanislas and Jermain Defoe will both miss the trip to south Wales, while Simon Francis is suspended.

Southampton have their own suspension to contend with, as Oriol Romeu misses the home meeting against Everton. Mario Lemina is back in training and will face a late assessment with Mauricio Pellegrino hopeful that he can step in.

Meanwhile Toffees duo Tom Davies and Oumar Niasse miss Sunday’s trip to St Mary’s with their own bans. Niasse begins a two-match suspension having been charged with the “Successful Deception of a Match Official” following the penalty award at Palace in Gameweek 12.

Huddersfield Town head coach David Wagner welcomes back Christopher Schindler for the visit of Manchester City to the John Smith’s Stadium, following the defender’s one-match ban. Jonathan Hogg is also available again after missing the 4-0 defeat to Bournemouth due to the birth of his son.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tonight’s 7.00pm deadline, which includes our predicted line-ups. Keep an eye on our official Twitter account for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from the remaining press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly.

So after this gw, is it better to have
    A) sterling, silva, Salah and firmino
    Or
    B) Sane, sterling, coutinho, firmino (-4)

All fuse is about having Salah or Sane (cant both) and witch cover team players are better.

One of four questions of the week - the others being whether to give the armband to Lukaku or Kane, ship Sterling for Pogba and switch out Aguero for another captainable big hitter...

2xFT this week, considering Abraham & Jones > Wilson & Yoshida

Any other suggestions on a £5m defender welcome as I'm not sold on Yoshida...

Currently in 3rd overall with this set up:

    De Gea
    Daniels / Monreal / Azpi
    Salah / Choupo / Sane / Richarlison
    Kane (c) / Abraham / Morata

    Speroni / P Jones / Gross / S Ward

    Re the Kane captaincy.

What sort of mindset do we think WBA will be in? Pulis has gone and now they've got Megson.

Is it going to be a major bus parking? Probably. Will they be motivated? Maybe not as poor form and no manager.

I can easily see it being 4-0 Spurs.

Been on Sane (c) all week but getting last minute jitters.
    Sky bet odds:

To score: Kane 1/2 Sane 5/4
    Brace: Kane 2/1 Sane 9/4
    Hattrick: Kane 7/1 Sane 33/1

    Bookies are always right?

Interesting the similarity between the brace odds but to score or score a hattrick massively favours Kane. Bookies are generally right though, i'm going Kane (C)

      Interesting.

Worth noting that bookies don't factor in the chances of someone being rotated or rested. So whilst Sane should start, his odds should in reality be a little longer too.

But there are always assists and bonus points to consider too.....

    Does anyone else here work?

I've no idea who to captain and I need the captain sensible article to help me this week. The trouble is by the time I finish work and commute home, there is little time to digest it before the Friday night deadline.

It's much better when you get the article the night before like during a Saturday deadline.

Does this happen to anyone else? ðŸ™

No one else seems to need this article as badly as you.

Even you have complained about the article if they get it wrong in the end. Then why follow it?

We know the best captaincy options. Who ends up scoring is mostly down to luck.

      Could be absolute gold.

I got rid of him a couple of weeks ago just because I was tired of the constant Aguero/Jesus panic every week.

Transferred in for Morata and now happier!

    Wildcard is active. Currently on:

    Pope / Elliot
    Walker / Davies / Jones / Mee / Mariappa
    Sane / Salah / Richarlison / Gros / RLC
    Kane / Morata / Wilson

I'm happy with most of the squad, but I have some issues.

    1) Should Davies go?
    2) Is it worth keeping Jones if I have value invested in him? Might swap to Smalling.
    3) Want Pogba, but not sure if I should sell Richarlison or Gros.
    4) Is it too soon for Wilson?

    Any thoughts would be appreciated!

plan without Jones till gameweek 17

    A) D. Sanches (6.0, exp)
    B) Walker (6.6 much exp)
    C) Christiansen (5.4 same but rest against Pool)
    D) save Jones and next week double trasfer magic

Just realised my upcoming weeks' transfers will throw me deep into a bench headache loophole.
Team I plan to have soon:

    Gomes Elliot
    Alonso Otamendi Mustafi Daniels Tarkowski
    Sane Salah Fabregas Richarlison Gross
    Kane Morata Wilson

Not sure how to feel about this.

Will Tom Carroll start this weekend or is he officially dropped? Missed the last one but also got hauled off before the hour mark the previous game.

If he doesn't play, I'll only have ten starters so may have to get in RLC for a hit. Going to be bringing him in anyway soon enough...

    Thoughts?

Might be worth bringing in RLC for -4 anyway, plus it's one less move to make down the line

50/50... I went Gomez last week which backfired, but Moreno had a shocker on tuesday

Difficult, I'd have said Moreno 100% but he had that mare the other night and Lallana has come back to battle for a midfield spot so I wouldn't be surprised to see Milner at left back again.

i think theyll always concede , moreno is more likely to get attacking returns if they do concede so id go him but would rather have 0 liverpool defense

    How do these moves look?

    Aguero + Tom Carroll > Wilson + Sane (-4)

    Currently have RLC and Carroll.

Hello chaps. With my 1FT I'm thinking... Abrahams > Wilson. Yay or nay?

    Elliot (Krul)
    Moreno Kola Mee Otamendi (Jones*)
    Sane(c) Silva Salah (Carroll* King*)
    Abrahams* Kane Lukaku(vc)
    1.3ITB / 1FT

    Cheers
