In our continued quest to mirror the Fantasy Football season, this latest ScoutCast episode is missing a key player, but shuffles the pack and brings on stars from the bench.

Quivering from the midweek rotation, Jonty and Az begin proceedings before Granville is introduced to add his experience to the line-up. Then, late on, Andy arrives to shore things up and see the team through the final testing period. Me? I’m ruled out and left to watch from the stands.

The ever-changing line-up does a fine job contending with another round of community questions, as they assess the midfield template and consider goalkeeper recruits in the light of Rafa’s tinkerings. Then Granville rolls back to a classic ScoutCast question, lambasting United fan Andy for celebrating a City goal to ask which comes first, your football team or your Fantasy team?

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel earlier on Thursday. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Going without Salah this long is season ending. I bought Niasse before he got suspended. No guarantee he regular starter under new manager

    Play 2 and order bench:

    A) Niasse (HUD)
    B) Ward (lei)
    C) Naughton (stk)
    D) Richarlison (TOT)
    E) RLC (wba)

Already have Pope in goals in case that changes any decision on Ward

it would have been a good move but Sané makes it borderline bad. Coutinho to excel vs Brighton, i am so close to taking a hit to get him in, but it involves firmino so i´l l chance it. But i know Coutinho wil lscore and i think Firmino won´t get any wether he plays 90 or 20-)

if sané out it is good, but doubt that if its just man flu

Same here 50:50 for me as if I do Alli to Hazard, my defence is looking weak. Spurs fixtures are also very good so an Alli haul at the weekend and I'll be inclined to keep him.

i think Naughton is wtf.. sorry, Lukaku will get two points and then have City next, Morata will give you some more money to upgrade Holgate and Naughton with. Kun is at risk after 3 games in a row but if you confident he plays then sure. If you want Morata it seems a little waste to wait one week? If you wait then you will lose some money on that transfer which could be crucial in upgrading those two?

    It not really "group think"
So much as we all have a tipping point where we say enough is enough.
This week it seems to be it's time to stick the C on Salah and leave there until further notice.

This is how I feel about KaneWhen I look at Kane's next 3 fixtures I think I'll be even more upset if I don't have him captain for a haul. At least I know Kane will start them all so I'm sort of committing to the idea now

Ok definitely not group think cause then it would all be the same 🙂
And I had a different tipping point with Kane 2 or 3 weeks ago.

    What would you change?

    Courtois
    Mee/Daniels/Mustafi (naughton/mbemba)
    Salah/Silva/Sane/Richarlison (RLC)
    Kane(c)Morata/Niasse

Nothing really. Maybe Sterling instead of Silva but wouldn't do it this week but maybe if possible in the near future. Luxury trade really

Looks good, defense may not get you many points this GW. Maybe invest in Chelsea defender. Christensen is cheap and nailed on with Luiz out.

Who would you start out of these three defenders. Thanks..

Think he's too raw and Swansea won't be able to supply him enough, wouldn't be bringing him in.

    Any changes needed lads?

    Pope Elliot
    Dann Moreno Dunk Mee Mbemba
    Pogba Salah Sterling Choupo RLC
    Aguero Kane Morata

.5m ITB and 2FTs; clearly my defense seems to be in shambles, suggestions appreciated!

I'd probably trade Dann but may require a downgrade elsewhere to get in someone nailed. I'd probably downgrade a striker or Pogba

I'm on the fence with choupo>gross, but you have to enjoy choupo goal threat.

      Looks a good team

      Dann > Daniels maybe
But he has only got 2 good fixtures left for now.

Maybe Kun to Vardy and Choup to Ramsey or Coutinho. I'm also considering Fabregas as a POD as he is in Hazard's shadow. He could become the assist king over the next couple of months.

    Hazard owners (w/out WC):

How have you managed to get him in your team?

    -8?

    Dropping big names?

If I had Kaku that seems the play...tough to downgrade Kane/Morata/Sane/Salah

    Fabianski (Eliot)
    Alonso Otamendi Ward Francis (Duffy)
    Salah Alli Sterling Choupo (RLC)
    Kane Kun (Joselu)

Would you change this 4-4-2? Looking to save tranny. Have 0.7 ITB. Could do something with Eliot or Joselu (take a risk on Niasse?) or Ward to Mustafi. Or save?

I would save. I think Niasse or Calvert-Lewin in for Joselu is a decent move and you may know more about which one after this week. I'd probably be playing 3-5-2 with that team but looks reasonably flexible which is good

Yeah I played 3-5-2 last week, can switch to 4-4-2 or 3-4-3 as needed. Just choosing between playing RLC and/or Ward/Francis

    Courtois in for:

    A) Speroni (4.0)

    B) Elliot (4.1)

I'm thinking cash in on Elliot and wont need him anyway but my gut feel says he is more likely to win his spot back. Opinions appreciated

I'd cash in too if going for Courtois, you won't be benching him anytime soon!

Agree Chelsea defense look more and more like last year's with Kante bossing the defensive midfield again.

by the time you will even consider benching courtois it will be mid feburary. by then i'm sure some changes will be made and you may be able to get a legit back up

I kind of disagree with the others here. If you're convinced that Elliot is a better pick than Speroni going forward, that´s well worth a tiny 0.1 of your budget.

I just think that if I bring in DDG/Courtois - I'd be fine with Kellyanne Conway as my backup.

I get your point and if it were 4.5 vs 4.0 there would be no discussion. But it's just 0.1 and it only takes one badly timed swing of someone's boot...

true...if you have the cash, speroni drop is no brainer...all of my "plans" for future seem to rely on .1-.2

Thanks for the replies guys, I hadn't even considered the bench boost factor I kind of assumed I would wildcard again before I get to that stage of the season. I'll see if any clues are released in any press conferences. Its hard to make the decision as to which is a better chance at regaining their spot, the kind of decision that might be easier to make with a few more gameweeks information but doesn't look like i can afford to wait

Nay, save or use it elsewhere

Liverpool seem to be buzzing a bit, and I would keep Firmino for a couple Gw's (great next few fixtures) to see if you can catch his run of form from the beginning.
