The first of two Sunday afternoon matches gets underway at 2.15pm as West Bromwich Albion welcome Manchester United to The Hawthorns.

Back on the scoresheet in the midweek win over Bournemouth, Romelu Lukaku is the second top captain pick for Gameweek 18, handed the armband by 14.9% of Fantasy Premier League managers.

Jesse Lingard continues in the visitors’ starting XI and remains an overlooked midfield option – priced at 5.9 and owned by just 2%, he’s produced 12 and 15 points in his last two on the road.

Although the arrival of Alan Pardew has instilled some resilience to the Baggies’ backline – they’ve conceded just one goal in three – the midlands outfit remain toothless in attack and have yet to find the net under their new manager.

That lack of cutting edge bodes well for David de Gea’s 43% owners, then, as the Spaniard looks to steer his side to an eleventh clean sheet of the season.

Jose Mourinho also retains Phil Jones on the teamsheet today – nine of their 10 clean sheets have came in the 12 matches that the former Blackburn man has started this season.

    Hate to say this as a United fan but Herrera is an ineffectual player. He doesn't trust himself to do anything other than make simple 5 yard passes sideways and backwards, despite playing alongside Matic.

    Exception: when he man marks Hazard out of the game and gets MoM.

        He was the best of a bad bunch in many LvG and Moyes era games. Now he is less effective than Fellaini.

      He's probably one of the most underrated players in the league. Ineffective for Fantasy Football in terms of points, but you cannot question his effectiveness on the pitch.

      Lovely goal. It reminded me of how Les Ferdinand used to rise and seem to pause for a second before nodding the ball into the net. Very classy. Also classy how Lukaku didn't celebrate scoring against a team who gave him a chance on loan. I like prson who remembers his roots. Nice one Rom.
