The curtain falls on Gameweek 18 under the lights of Goodison Park, as a rejuvenated Everton take on an ailing Swansea City.

In Fantasy terms, the focus is quite definitely on the home side and, in particular, their two strikers.

Against the odds, Wayne Rooney is currently revived as a Fantasy option. Perhaps benefitting from the malaise suffered by the premium-priced forward options, Rooney’s 7.5 price tag has attracted over 271,000 new owners ahead of Saturday’s deadline.

Rooney goes into tonight’s contest on the back of five goals and an assist from his last four Gameweeks – all from a No 10 role behind lone striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The 20-year-old is also a factor in tonight’s match. Backed by over 80,000 new owners and now in 560,000 squads, Calvert-Lewin will bid to further his CV as our third striker “enabler”. He boasts three assists and a goal from his last five Gameweek starts.

But with three clean sheets from their last four Gameweeks, the Toffees defence also demands attention.

In particular, both goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and right-back Jonjoe Kenny will be auditioning for further transfer attention tonight. They were signed by 21,000+ and 62000+ ahead of Swansea’s visit in anticipation of yet another shut-out.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

        If I downgraded morata to firmino that frees up 2 mill or so for niasse

    Best option. Need to take some risk:

    Fabianski, Elliot
    Smalling, Jones, Ota, Dunk, Kiko
    Haz, Salah, Cou, Richa, RLC
    Kane, Firmino, DCL

    a) Haz, Richa -> Pogba, Silva
    b) Haz, RLC -> Pogba/Silva, WHU mid
    c) Haz, Richa, Kane -> KDB, Silva, Lukaku -4

      Learning his trade from Pep and coming to bring similar principles to Arsenal would only be a good thing to Arsenal. Arteta has always been a role model at Arsenal and players respected him so that would be ideal Wenger replacement. Wenger's lost it after all so i think many Arsenal fans would welcome that.

          Pep had little to no experience when he took over Barca, plus Arteta knows the PL quite well. Vieira is another who has done well coaching at City youth and now in the US but a Pep like Manager at Arsenal is enticing tbh.

        ”…any League Match which from any cause whatever falls short of 90 (ninety) minutes’ duration may be ordered to count as a completed fixture or be replayed in full or in part on whatever terms and conditions the Board shall in their absolute discretion determine and shall be played in compliance with these Regulations and the Football Association Rules respectively and under the Laws of the Game as approved by the International Football Association Board”.
