The curtain falls on Gameweek 18 under the lights of Goodison Park, as a rejuvenated Everton take on an ailing Swansea City.

In Fantasy terms, the focus is quite definitely on the home side and, in particular, their two strikers.

Against the odds, Wayne Rooney is currently revived as a Fantasy option. Perhaps benefitting from the malaise suffered by the premium-priced forward options, Rooney’s 7.5 price tag has attracted over 271,000 new owners ahead of Saturday’s deadline.

Rooney goes into tonight’s contest on the back of five goals and an assist from his last four Gameweeks – all from a No 10 role behind lone striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The 20-year-old is also a factor in tonight’s match. Backed by over 80,000 new owners and now in 560,000 squads, Calvert-Lewin will bid to further his CV as our third striker “enabler”. He boasts three assists and a goal from his last five Gameweek starts.

But with three clean sheets from their last four Gameweeks, the Toffees defence also demands attention.

In particular, both goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and right-back Jonjoe Kenny will be auditioning for further transfer attention tonight. They were signed by 21,000+ and 62000+ ahead of Swansea’s visit in anticipation of yet another shut-out.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I have two free transfers. Should I do:

    1. Gross to Pogba (0.0 left in bank and one free transfer)
    2. Diouf to Rooney (0.1 left in bank and one free transfer)
    3. Diouf to Calvert-Lewin and Gross to Pogba (0.1 left in bank)

    My team as it is:

    Foster-Elliott
    Azpi-Otamendi-Mee-Kenny-Mbemba
    Gross-Sterling-Salah-Coutinho-Richarlison
    Kane-Firmino-Diouf

I think it's a waste of two transfers. If I'm going to waste a FT on a defender then I want him for more than 5 weeks.

Rather just keep Mee and play him on the odd good fixture he has during his bad run. That's if your 5 man defence can pick up the slack of course.

Depends on the League Cup for me. If he starts, I'm probably gonna ditch him. You'd expect Liverpool to score on Friday too, so you're relying on him assisting/scoring to make up the lack of clean sheet points.

Didn't think the whole season he'll provide tons of value- he won't get 5 more goals in his next 10 fixtures which is what got him the big scores. Christensen / Jones / Smalling all cheaper now and could provide clean sheets at the same or better rate.
