After a lumbering start to the campaign which saw West Ham mired in the relegation zone after 11 Gameweeks, it appeared only to take a change in defensive personnel and an unlikely Scottish saviour to salvage the club from the brink of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) irrelevance.

Over the last three Gameweeks, the Hammers have now taken an unlikely seven points from a trio of match-ups against Arsenal, Chelsea, and Stoke City. More impressively still, their rearguard has remained impenetrable over this span – racking up three successive clean sheets.

Can David Moyes’ men continue this impressive run of form; or is their recent uptick in results merely a mirage?

This week’s Technical Area will be evaluating West Ham’s prospects for the second half of our campaigns, as we run the rule over their top FPL assets for the remainder of the season.

    Otamendi Christensen Mustafi Daniels Tarkowski
    Hazard Salah Coutinho Sterling Richarlison
    Morata Firmino Calvert

        Crouch will play only this week vs WBA instead of DCL, otherwise a bench fodder for the purpuse only:

        Next week the team will look like this:

        Coutinho Sterling Pogba Salah Hazard
        Kane DCL

    Current squad with 1 FT and £0.2m ITB:

    Pope Elliott
    Alonso Mee Otamendi Ogbonna Daniels
    Hazard RLC Richarlison Salah Coutinho
    Firmino Kane Niasse

    A) Kane -> Aguero (c)
    B) Coutinho -> Sterling (c)
    C) Hazard -> Sterling (c)
    D) Combination of above for -4
    E) Something else

    Really uneasy about losing Coutinho or Hazard but the Sterling ownership scares me. Opinions appreciated!

              Have you ever listened to the gaffer tapes, Mark? They seem to be pretty big like FFS. They had a huge live event recently.

              They seem to be more about the gags and a bit blue, though.

              The live show concept is certainly an interesting idea. Would you ever consider that? FFS certainly have the fan base.

        It's interesting seeing the old guard alongside the young Billy the Kid hot shot on the scoutcast this week! There was a lot of clashing going on ... clash of generations, clash of (Kane) strategies, clash of the clean shaven Vs the facially ruggard!

    Final thoughts please!

    Pickford Elliot
    Daniels Alonso Kiko Masuaku Maguire
    Hazard Salah Richarlison CM RLC
    Kane Morata DCL

    I would get rid of Morata but with Brighton and Stoke at home he has to stay. By selling Kane it allows me to beef up my midfield, as I heavily lack city players.

    Kane to Gray
    CM to Sterling (c)
    -4

      I have been pulling my hair out all week over this. If anyone could score 4 this gameweek it is him.

      There was talk of a knee injury that he has been carrying and, like you say, he will probably only play 60 before Jesus comes on. Let's also not forget that he sulked badly when coming off last week. Also, arguably a harder game midweek so could rest his no 1 and start Jesus!

      I'd have to get rid of Kane to get him in and I can see him notching too

        Same here, would have to be Sir Harold out for Kun. Has heartbreak written all over it. the heartbreak of Kane blanking, getting his 5th booking, and Kun hat trick if I wait; the heartbreak of Kun rotation, blanking, and a Kane hat trick if I put the trigger. Sobbing...

        Thanks all. I checked their results history - Sterling has scored in the last three fixtures against them so it's on him. Good luck to all.
