After a lumbering start to the campaign which saw West Ham mired in the relegation zone after 11 Gameweeks, it appeared only to take a change in defensive personnel and an unlikely Scottish saviour to salvage the club from the brink of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) irrelevance.

Over the last three Gameweeks, the Hammers have now taken an unlikely seven points from a trio of match-ups against Arsenal, Chelsea, and Stoke City. More impressively still, their rearguard has remained impenetrable over this span – racking up three successive clean sheets.

Can David Moyes’ men continue this impressive run of form; or is their recent uptick in results merely a mirage?

This week’s Technical Area will be evaluating West Ham’s prospects for the second half of our campaigns, as we run the rule over their top FPL assets for the remainder of the season.

    Am I mad to consider Sane ahead of Sterling as a transfer in this week? Just feel with the amount on Sterling above me in mini leagues and overall need to take a bit of a different route. Already have Silva - who I'm keeping unless Pep says he's out for an extended spell tomorrow. Will have to suffer the 0.1m rise on Raheem tonight.

      If I'm not mistaken it's after this game (gw19) that it "reset" and 10 yellow cards is required as we are already half way into the season. Usually gw19 is at new year so it reset at new year. Might be the same now though. So all this rambling might be really pointless

    I'm struggling with my cap choice. I'm really tempted to cap Salah or coutinho against arsenal, but was gonna check cap poll to see who others are going for before deciding. Last week I capped mahrez and don't want to get screwed again.......
