After a lumbering start to the campaign which saw West Ham mired in the relegation zone after 11 Gameweeks, it appeared only to take a change in defensive personnel and an unlikely Scottish saviour to salvage the club from the brink of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) irrelevance.

Over the last three Gameweeks, the Hammers have now taken an unlikely seven points from a trio of match-ups against Arsenal, Chelsea, and Stoke City. More impressively still, their rearguard has remained impenetrable over this span – racking up three successive clean sheets.

Can David Moyes’ men continue this impressive run of form; or is their recent uptick in results merely a mirage?

This week’s Technical Area will be evaluating West Ham’s prospects for the second half of our campaigns, as we run the rule over their top FPL assets for the remainder of the season.

    I really liked the way James on the scoutcast was like "I cant understand all the farce about DGW". Its only 2 teams playing each other as an added game and playing 48 hours between the 2 games.

      Spurs had a early double gameweek a few years ago.

      Defence got two clean sheets.

      Bale got high teens score, VDV got 21.

      It could be a 4 pointer for all of the squad, but it could just as easily be a year defining gameweek.

        This. I don't give a dog shite about Spurs assets this season because they've been so inconsistent. But I'm gonna just triple up on them anyway for the double gameweek.

        These kind of gameweeks can be a defining factor to our seasons. However, eventually we're all on our own. Stick to your plan and play it out.

      The only issue with Gomez is that he will probably only play every other game as seems to get rotated with Alexander Arnold.

      Otherwise, good moves and Choupo to Sterling will probably pay back the hit straight away

      I think it can be worth it even for a playing defender if assessed across the next 2 or 3 fixtures and they are favourable for the incoming defender.

      I think it depends on if you expect any of your starting 11 to not play. If they are going to end up just sitting on your bench then would not seem worth it

      wouldn't do for a bench player. Took defender hit couple weeks back but it enabled same time to get cash for Quaner > DLC. It always depends on the situation if it's worth it or not
