After a lumbering start to the campaign which saw West Ham mired in the relegation zone after 11 Gameweeks, it appeared only to take a change in defensive personnel and an unlikely Scottish saviour to salvage the club from the brink of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) irrelevance.

Over the last three Gameweeks, the Hammers have now taken an unlikely seven points from a trio of match-ups against Arsenal, Chelsea, and Stoke City. More impressively still, their rearguard has remained impenetrable over this span – racking up three successive clean sheets.

Can David Moyes’ men continue this impressive run of form; or is their recent uptick in results merely a mirage?

This week’s Technical Area will be evaluating West Ham’s prospects for the second half of our campaigns, as we run the rule over their top FPL assets for the remainder of the season.

          Thinking about the same moves for a -4, but I am leaning towards Depoitre instead of Austin because price and current form and because Austin's fixtures don't look too good.

              I get your point. I also have DCL and I want to transfer out Morata to make the shift to a 3-5-2.

              Choosing Austin and getting Sterling in for RLC would mean I only have 0.4M to upgrade Gross, whereas Depoitre gives me the necessary funds to upgrade Gross to Richarlison next GW (would then have your exact midfield).

              So in my situation, do you think I should go for Austin or can I safely choose Depoitre?

      I'm keeping Morata but that sounds reasonable enough to me.

        I still consider Morata to be the second best striker to own after this GW, behind Kane.

        It's just that the midfielders really outperform the forwards and that I'd rather have Sterling and Richarlison (who I want to bring in next GW for Gross) with Depoitre on the bench than Morata in my team with Gross/RLC playing and RLC/Gross on the bench.
