Dugout Discussion – Liverpool vs Swansea

A breathless day ends at Anfield, with Fantasy managers doubtless expecting another glut of goals and points as a rampant Liverpool take on bottom club Swansea City.

The scene is set for Mohamed Salah to bookend Harry Kane’s 17-point haul that started proceedings in the early kick-off. The Egyptian has fallen behind the Spurs striker in the Golden Boot race but boasts an incredible 11 goals and three assists from his previous 11 Gameweek outings. Like Kane, he’s backed by 1.1 million captaincies.

Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino picked up over 244,000 new owners ahead of this evening’s clash, having produced double figures in successive matches and three times over his previous five Gameweeks.

Jurgen Klopp’s rotation policy is eased as Firmino starts with Philippe Coutinho in what appears to be a front three for Liverpool. Sadio Mane is again the fall-guy as he drops to the bench. The changes are mainly limited to the defence, as Joel Matip returns from injury to oust Dejan Lovren, while Trent Alexander-Arnold starts at right-back for Joe Gomez. Both drop to the bench.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

          Lingard getting only 45 minutes secures his start next game at the least. He should start from now on as he has been miles better than Rash, Martial, Lukaku and only Mata has been decent.

        We are wearing the same shoes. With Aguero (C) and Sterling last week, and having the funds to go RLC to Arnie this week because I got rid of Kane, losing Kane, oddly, has done little damage, but it's still tough to watch.
