The ScoutCast – Episode 249 – Puppetmaster

Granville is the latest of the ScoutCast crew to be struck down by man-flu, and while Az manfully continued last time out, like myself the week before, my old rival is forced to sit out.

But he makes sure he has his say, priming Jonty beforehand to push my buttons on the “honeytrap” that was Jordan Pickford. Jonty plays a blinder on his behalf as Granville pulls the evil strings from his sickbed.

Elsewhere in this latest episode, your community questions steer us to assess whether we should call time on Marcos Alonso to consider cut-price alternatives. We appraise the Arsenal renaissance, get Az all riled up on “JLingz”, while Jonty has his say on “whipping boys”. That, of course, are those teams that are easy to beat and guarantee big returns.

I still believe that this topic was just another excuse to have a go at Pickford, with Granville sniggering over his Lemsip (other cold remedies and goalkeepers are available).

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday evening. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

    Time to take some risks.......

Aguero and Niasse to Aubameyang and Wilson -4?

Its a gamble, but I'm working on the premise that so many are avoiding Aubameyang over the next 2 matches that being an "early-adopter" could pay off as an explosive differential.

After this GW I was planning to double up on Man City mids Sterling and KDB but their fixtures are just awful from gw 28 to 34, 4 in 7 difficult games (ars, CHE, MUN, tot)..

So maybe it is not a good idea to load on Man City?

      sterling is enough IMO.

      I'll ask one.

As someone sans a WC and FH chip (which I know you would never be!) what would you say is the 'right' amount of guys for GW31? My thoughts are 3 x Pool, I have Walcott/Pickford and also Quaner right now. I'm thinking get this to 8, so as not to compromise GW34 prep. I don't want to miss out on potential points leading up to GW31 in the meantime...

Can you see Everton creating a lot of opportunities?
I actually think Walcott is far from a clinica finisher so his attractiveness would clearly be related to how many chances he gets.

CRY seems a great fixture indeed but wat and then burnley away, againt two sides that have shown a great resistance lately at home ain't that attrative imo

GK combo at the moment is Hennessy/Speroni.

Crystal Palace have an awful run of fixtures from next week on - SPU MU che hud LIV

I'll have 2 FT next week, should I address Speroni or just role with Hennessy as CP will most likely play in 31 against Hud when MU knock Hud out of the FA Cup? Thoughts?

    Kane Firmino

    Elliot Quaner Ogbonna Kenny
