Gameweek 27 concludes under the lights of Stamford Bridge for what looks to be a crucial encounter for both Chelsea and West Brom, for all kinds of reasons.

Antonio Conte’s tenure with the champions looks to be precarious at best following successive heavy defeats to Bournemouth and Watford. Another setback tonight would likely seal his fate.

Like Conte, Fantasy managers will be hoping for a reaction and a revival from the Blues.

However, we won’t benefit from returns from Marcos Alonso. The most sold Fantasy Premier League (FPL) player ahead of Saturday’s deadline he remains in 1.3 million squads but misses out once again having sat out the defeat at Watford through “fatigue”. Conte has confirmed that a twisted ankle suffered in training is to blame for his latest absence.

Meanwhile, Eden Hazard remains an erratic but potentially powerful differential. Owned by just 474,000 managers, he has the talent to deliver big against the bottom club.

He is backed with 119,000+ captaincies, including seven of the top 100 managers prior to Saturday’s deadline.

Just two of his nine goals have arrived on home turf this season – both scored against Newcastle in Gameweek 15. He did, however, score his season-high 18-point total against West Brom in the reverse fixture in Gameweek 12.

Olivier Giroud might just be vital to the Belgian’s prospects. He makes his full debut tonight, leading the Chelsea attack with Hazard deployed as one of a supporting two – Pedro also flanks the former Arsenal striker.

The weekend could not have been more troublesome for West Brom; they now find themselves seven points adrift and challenged to come away from West London with some reward. Plenty of Fantasy managers will be hoping that they are denied.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Solid move. Martina GW31 guaranteed, easy fixtures and off the back of an assist.

I got Martina for this GW and he’s about to be autosubbed on for Alonso tonight.

Aldy not fit and not played, ARS have city next (subject to fixtures) so VVD imo plus 3 of his next 4 at home has to be in his Favor plus may score

I was hoping Aldy would be fit in 2 weeks, we'll see I guess. Monreal's on my radar after the City game, VVD is seeming like the best option of the lot as you suggest

Spurs historically are better with toby there but carra did a good slot on spurs defence tonight MNF and Sanchez and Vertongan were quality v Arsenal so even if he is fit does Toby start ? Hence VVD best option imo

Yeah good question. Moreno is my answer, so many attractive players could get on wrong side of CL rotation. Tripp Davies Robertson Alonso Moses walker vvd Gomes TAA. Etc etc. not sure if I'm over thinking or requires avoiding them all

With all the talk about bench points and whether they should count as full or half points, would be nice if eventually FPL allowed us to make substitutions after initial deadline. If they really got their act together, we could transfer in a player as long as that player’s team hadn’t kicked off. Guess FPL servers couldn’t cope though.

I’d really enjoy a “cash out” feature.

Whereby if it’s 60 minutes gone, your defender is on a clean sheet. You could goose to cash in his current points, or let it run and hope he earns more through BAPS, goals, assists etc.

Take example of Alonso. He’s a no-show. There’s no way of knowing that with an 11.30 Saturday deadline. So either:

        A. Sub in one of your subs. This currently happens automatically, but if bench points didn’t count, you would miss out.

        B. Have option to transfer in a replacement. I might well have bought Azpilicueta and gained 8 points.

Some might argue it is too much work, but aren’t most on here complaining about filthy casuals? You manage your team, you benefit.

Any suggestions? Will make any changes for BGW31 if they seem necessary. Don't see much value currently other than Liverpool assets.

    A or B
    A) Niasse + Eriksen

I certainly prefer D to C. I currently own Walcott (paid 7.1m) so switching to Ramsey at a later date could happen.

Again, VVD is in my team currently... Arsenal has great fixtures after Man City (as does Liverpool) so I'd prefer to cover them both. Especially as I will likely have a Swansea defender.
