As we enter the final ten Gameweeks of the season, finding ways to differentiate our sides from those our rivals around us becomes more and more difficult to achieve.

With a combined eight midfielders and forwards boasting an ownership of over 20% within the top 10,000 managers, and the Gameweek 31 blank promoting assets with guaranteed fixtures that weekend, many of us now appear to have converged upon a similar squad structure.

In such a circumstance, the decision of captaincy allocation – that ever-crucial decision to a manager’s Gameweek – becomes magnified in its importance.

Last week saw an incredible 91% of top-10k managers place the armband onto either Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah or Spurs’ Harry Kane. Salah held a convincing lead over his rival in terms of backers (73.7% vs 17.6%) and though both players provided goals, it was the Egyptian who ultimately emerged victorious with a haul of 10 points to Kane’s six.

Looking forward, however, who do the numbers support as our prime captaincy option over the final few Gameweeks of the season?

Spurs: Vorm (C), Trippier, Dier, Foyth, Rose, Sissoko, Winks, Lamela, Son, Lucas, Llorente.

Is Bavies going to start 3 games in a week, HUD - JUV - bou? With a fit Danny Rose available for a manager who loves rotating his full backs.

Seems like the coach is now considering him as essential. Why would you rotate one of your best in form D ? The team gained momentum with him at the back so dont see why he will rotate. Maybe vs bourne but if he puts up a solid performance vs juve he will not rotate.

The only thing Poch loves more than his players diving correctly is rotating his full backs.

Reckon Dyche still has them motivated and they'll get a few more shut outs, just regressed to the mean a bit the last month or so.

Dyche a great manager. Teams like Burnley almost always tire/regress as the season goes on due to scarce resources. I was sure they'd get relegated.

They are a much better side than West Brom, offensively and defensively. Hopefully with players coming back from injury they get back on track.

They've conceded just the 1 goal in the past 6 games. Earlier in the season they were staying out. Luck has just run out a bit, but they can still be relied upon for a strong defense
