With the schedule for Gameweek 31 now confirmed after Spurs eased past Rochdale into the FA Cup quarter-finals, our next members’ article of the week delves into the expected goals data for the eight teams involved.

We’ll look at each side’s recent displays, both at home and on their travels, and also assess them from an attacking and defensive viewpoint to help firm up our targets.

In addition, we’ll check out their respective strength of short-term schedules over the ensuing Gameweek 29-31 period.

          Currently thinking Alonso or Ota to one of: Ake, Williams, Bauer, or Dawson (depressing I know, but the fixtures make sense). Then you would free up the cash to finally replace Elliot, as Pope's spot will soon be under threat, and does not have a GW 31 fixture.

            You could add a Watford defender to that depressing list too. I will likely do Mariappa, Bauer, or Dawson. But waiting to pull the trigger... what do you think?

              Yeh sounds sensible, I think Ake is top of my list - I have a lot of value in Ota but I guess I shouldn't be too worried about that. Thinking Ota, Dunk, Depoitre, Ogbonna, Elliot out before 31 and VVD, Ake, Quaner, Dawson, Pickford in

      Forget Daniels - he's a fading force. Huddersfield have great fixtures, so you could think about Lössl (Pope won't play in GW31 and is soon to be under threat from Heaton) and/or the likes of Schindler or Zanka.

    Major headache for GW's up to GW31. Team is

    Bit scared to go into GW29 and GW30 without Spurs cover, and had planned to do Kun -> Kane. But the Sterling situation messes up royally, as I'd also want City for GW30 against Stoke. Then there's ofc the chance that neither Kun nor Sterling plays, and KDB runs away with all the points... So looking at two options, both for a hit involving either Alonso or Otamedni to some GW31 defender:

    A) Kun -> Kane
    B) Sterling -> Eriksen

    Which should be prioritized this GW?

      Sterling > Eriksen has a good chance of paying off in the short term. Mahrez too but a little riskier, I think.

    So I'll probably do Sterling to Mahrez but what to do with defenders?
    I have Kenny, Dunk, Taylor, VVD and Alonso.
    Dunk and Taylor must go, maybe even Alonso eventually.
    Dunk->Simpson now and next week Taylor ->Zanka or Tarkowski? I wanted to get Dawson but WBA are terrible 🙁

      Just the papers tryna make a headline for something that happens ahead of every game. Obviously conditions will make it more difficult but the stewards will be in place, I'd say that's the least of the worries. This article was posted a few hours ago too.     Weather Watch.

    (I write this for my own amusment, have no weather forecasting skills and am relying on BBC Weather)

    Saturday Fixtures
    Burnley vs Everton - Teams are close to each other, if they can clear the pitch it should be ok.
    Leicester vs Bournemouth - This game seemed certain to go ahead, but its snowed round here this morning, should be fine anyway if Bournemouth can get there. The away team are the bigger issue, but as we know, games tend to be postponed due to fan safety issues rather than the away team.
    Southampton vs Stoke - hmmmm, toughie, things cant be good down there.
    Spurs vs Huddersfield - Well they played last night so they can do it again. No excuses.
    Swansea vs West Ham - Naaaah your having a laugh mate
    Watford vs West Brom - Should be fine really, similar to the Leicester situation.
    Liverpool vs Newcastle - No idea.

    Sunday Fixtures
    Brighton vs Arsenal - The south coast has been battered, but rain is due on saturday so should clear and there is a direct train route for the Arsenal team. Unfortunately that service is run by Southern. Reasonable chance of playing.
    Man City vs Chelsea - Man City will do everything to make this happen, they cant afford for it not to.

    Monday Fixture
    Crystal Palace vs Man Utd - Triple up on both teams here, likeliest game to go ahead.

    So basically, just Southampton vs Stoke and Swansea vs West Ham that concern me a little. But why would I want any players from those teams anyway?

    It seems that Coleman and Baines are nearing fitness. Cuca and Kenny have rather large ownership, but may not be guaranteed playing time anymore, especially for the all important GW31 fixture. Are you thinking of getting rid? If you don't own either at the moment, would you consider any of the lot coming in to your squad? Cheers
