Our series of members’ Monitor articles on Wildcard targets continues this evening with an analysis of Chelsea’s in-demand Willian.

The third most bought midfielder in Fantasy Premier League’s (FPL) ahead of Gameweek 32, the Brazilian, along with team-mate Eden Hazard, has been in fine recent form ahead of a favourable run-in that also includes an expected pair of Double Gameweeks.

With this in mind, coverage of the Chelsea attack appears a promising strategy over the season’s final weeks, yet with doubts over the forward set-up, many managers are looking to the midfield for a solution.

      Well it's true that Jones and rojo are back from injury soon. It's also true that smalling has been a liability in recent weeks - he switches off so often.

          Hmm, not so sure personally. I think his first choice pairing would be rojo and bailly. Jones next. But it's seldom been the case that he's had them all at his disposal

      when all united cbs have been fit this season Jones and Bailly have been first choice. Smalling has played off late but that doesnt mean hes nailed with all now fit again.

      That being said I dont think Jones is capable of playing three games in a week and will probably be rested in atleast one of the 34 fixtures. I would guess he plays vs City and Spurs - and west brom probably but that just means that Smalling and Jones will rotate and Possibly bailly as well could see -
      32 - Bailly and Smalling vs Swansea
      33 - Bailly and Jones vs City
      34 - Bailly and Jones vs West Brom
      34 - Smalling and Lindelof vs Bournmouth
      and Bailly and Jones vs Spurs in the FA Cup

      Obviously not sure about it but could play out like this maybe smalling gets both doubles and ends up being the best option but I think it might be best to get De Gea and leave the def alone

    Hello,
    I'm on wildcard at the moment. I have all the rest of my chips left. I've decided to keep Firmino for the next two as a differential. Rest is template. Going Firmino, Aubameyang -> Lukaku, Murray/Barnes. Ready to take an extra hit for 34 as well. Two options, which do you like best? Any other advice?

    b) Gross, Smalling/Christensen

    Leaning towards A, since it gives me the TAA punt, and more importantly time to assess which defender is nailed.

      IMO I would just go Gudmundsson if you plan to waste a transfers of Gross -> Gudmundsson. I would also rather have Dunk/Duffy instead of Fernandez when BB in GW34.

        I like Groß’s 2 home fixtures before that.

        Dunk/Duffy don’t look good long term picks they might not even outscore Fernandez in 34. Brighton haven’t kept many clean sheets.
