We now switch focus away from Wildcards and Double Gameweeks to focus on the Sky Sports game, as we cast our minds back to the previous round of action before preparing you for the incoming fixtures.

We’ll examine the recent run of Man of the Match (MoTM) awards, the bonus point beneficiaries, transfer trends and Watchlist, before moving on to the Scout team and our future plans.

Gameweek 32 Man of the Match Awards

These were the players who caught the eye of the Sky Sports reporters and earned an extra five points as a result.

FixtureMoTM
Bournemouth vs West BromSalomon Rondon
Stoke vs EvertonCenk Tosun
Huddersfield vs Crystal PalaceJames Tomkins
Liverpool vs WatfordMohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah continues to march towards the highest total ever recorded in the Sky Sports game after his eleventh award of the season and a stunning 36-point return.

Given the reduced Gameweek, most will also have captained him to earn 72 points.

A nod to Cenk Tosun, who has featured in our Watchlist for the last few weeks. The 0.1%-owned asset has started to settle at Goodison Park and could be a viable pick for those chasing a differential.

Gameweek 32 Bonus Points

Let’s take a look at any player to earn 45 points or more in bonus for the season

Here I aim to highlight a few differential players with low ownership who I think could be good options for the coming six weeks.

Notes

There’s not too much to report this week due to the reduced fixture list last time out.

Thankfully I kept pace with the pack by giving Salah the armband – I had considered Roberto Firmino instead.

This week I think I’ll look to draft in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the expense of the semi-successful Christian Benteke punt I made a few weeks back. The Arsenal striker offers some favourable captaincy matchdays coming up and is still owned by just 2.3%, so hopefully, he can help me enjoy a rise in the rankings.

Others on my radar include Romelu Lukaku and Willian but, with only seven transfers (soon to be six) remaining, I think I’ll wait a couple of weeks in case surgery is required due to any end of season injuries or rotation issues.

Captain Plan

Sat 31st March – Mohamed Salah
Sun 1st April – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Weekly Articles and Podcast

As well as the weekly Focus article, I’ll be talking through the week’s action, and upcoming plans with FFS posters Buffrey and Lewis on our regular podcast – the latest episode can be found here.

How's this WC draft look? Trying to strike a nice balance and moved away from Son & Willian! (BB in 34)

    DDG Ryan
    Alonso Mustafi Lowton Robertson
    Salah Mahrez Hazard Gudmonsson King
    Auba Lukaku Murray

Bench Boost in GW34, current WC

    De Gea, Ryan
    Alonso, Maguire, Lowton, Dunk, Yoshida
    Son, Willian, Salah, Mahrez, Gross
    Auba, Vardy, Austin

    0.0 ITB
I am considering the 2 spots in defence (Dunk, Yoshida) and 3rd striker seriously.
Is Barnes better option than Austin for GW34?
    Yoshida or Stephens?
Is Alexander-Arnold worthing a look? maybe he has single GW but if he plays, i think he can outscore the other two options in 34.
Is doubling up in Burnley defence worth? Which 2 would you choose?

Someone tell me if I'm being crazy here (I have all my chips and my wildcard is activated)

Bench boost this weekend (stay with me please) with:

Hart (4.2 home v S'ton), Masauku (4.2 home vs S'ton), Dummett (4.2 home vs Huddersfield), Ibe (4.7 away vs Watford and in-form)

Now BB is out of the way, I have a custom-made cheap-as-chips playing bench. This allows me to fully utilise my wildcard today and bring in the best players possible for the final few months. It adds about 1.2m to my starting 11 budget for the rest of the season.

Most are going with Brighton players for DGW34 but I don't see them keeping clean sheets against Palace or Spurs. West Ham and Newcastle could actually keep clean sheets this weekend...

Other people will make 5 more points or so by bench boosting in GW34 but would have had to plan their wildcard team around doing so, and most cheap options have terrible double gameweek fixtures. They'll have wasted income on their bench for all the other weeks, or will have to take points hits to get rid of them... meanwhile I have a fully efficient squad where all the money is in my starting 11 every week.

Someone tell me I'm crazy because I'm actually considering this!

    Think I'm going without Smalling.

Will pick up a defender below £5m - maybe double Burnley or Stephens/Cedric.

Allows me the option of keeping Lukaku and getting Kane in 2 moves if needed rather than just having the 1 plan to do Lukaku to Kane.

I think there is pro's and cons to keeping. If you are on wc and playing bench boost logical is to get in a double gw.

Yeah. Getting Mustafi and then can move him to Bailly/Jones/Smalling in 34.

what's the ideal SV target at this stage of the season? I know points over value but good SV means you can get a good team out there. (from WC)

A good SV would be something around 103.5. bear in mind that includes salah who most will have made a lot on and won't be selling. So around 94 would be good

Bench Barnes, Kenedy or Willian (want willian after this week but think spurs are pretty good atm)?

          You can't bench Willian.

No FH and my ML rival has his still and is 30pts ahead, my only advantage is around 1.5mil extra SV so will have to gamble

        ddg fab
        smelling mustafi lowton dummett Morgan
        Son sterling salah mahrez willian
        ayew auba firmino

gw 34 auba to lukaku and TC (kaku or mahrez)
        gw 35 lukaku/son to auba/mkhi
gw 37 mkhi/firmino/lowton to lingard /Kane/naughton and BB (bench would be fab/naughton/lingard/ayew)

know there's risk with sterling/smalling and planning so far ahead but can't see another way. If I BB in 34 my 35 team will be very week without FH but this method is the compromise.

        Rip me apart FFS!

        Think I'm set?
        DDG - Fab
        Alonso - Mustafi - Morgan - Lowton - VDH
        Salah - Son - Mahrez - Miki - Kenedy
        Lukaku - Vardy - Murray

Still have 0.6 ITB, so suggestions welcome!

Murray has terrible fixtures. Maybe Barnes is better and cheaper.

Done and dusted with this WC.

        Ddg - Ryan
        Bailly - Vertonghen - Fernandez* - Morgan - Lowton
        Salah* - Son - Willian - Mahrez - Gross
        Auba - Vardy - Barnes

1.7m itb -> Gross + Auba to Kane + Gudm in gw34, FH in gw35.

        Thoughts?

Might be different this time around. I think Smalling and Bailly are first choice for now.
