Each week we are reviewing the aggregated predictions on Superbru’s Premier League Predictor game, using the collective Wisdom of the Crowd predictions to guide our fantasy football thinking.
Please join the FFS league here and add your own predictions to the data – the more there are, the more accurate the crowd should be (in theory).
And don’t forget there is £20,000 on offer every week if you get a full house of predictions.
GAMEWEEK 33 REVIEW
These results reflect many Fantasy managers’ disappointment last weekend, with several unpredictable results in which the main protagonists let us all down.
Here are the Gameweek 33 results in descending order of predictability:
The Capello Index has won another Yellow Cap in the Fantasy Football Scout league with six correct predictions and two exact score picks, including the 0-0 Merseyside derby.
Mr Crowd Wisdom – using the aggregated predictions of the crowd – is now up to 6th place in FFS pool.
The aggregated predictions of the community are making better predictions than most individual players in the game, suggesting that there is credibility in the Wisdom of the Crowd concept.
The crowd’s average picks have now taken the Crowd Wisdom user into the top 2% on the global leaderboard.
GAMEWEEK 34 PREVIEW
Here is the Expected Goals chart for each fixture in the double Gameweek 34:
And here is the ranking of teams in order of Expected Goals Scored and Conceded:
It is make or break time as we near the end of the season, and the predicted goals chart is particularly interesting here, showing the total goals expected over two fixtures for those listed in italics.
The crowd is expecting Manchester United to score at least five goals across their two matches with West Brom and Bournemouth, with Spurs ranked second with a predicted 3.92 goals. Romelu Lukaku versus Harry Kane for the captaincy is a key decision here, and these predictions might sway you towards the United front man.
Nevertheless, Chelsea and Leicester shouldn’t be overlooked, whilst Liverpool are ranked fifth despite their sole fixture, and so those selling Mohamed Salah might be biting their nails during that match.
A Manchester United defender also looks essential, with their opposition not expected to score highly in either match. Beyond United, Chelsea, Spurs and Burnley are the highest-ranked defences of those with two fixtures, whilst Liverpool is also expected to keep a clean sheet at home to Bournemouth.
Here are the aggregated predictions that we’ll enter for Mr Crowd Wisdom this week.
There’s lots to consider in the weeks ahead. Is there anything that catches your eye in these predictions?
Good luck!

*switches armband back to Lukaku for the 100th time this week.
All I need now is an article saying Kane will score more and it'll be back on him. 🙂
