Just as we witnessed in Gameweek 31, the Free Hit chip does its thing, granting the ScoutCast crew and many in the Fantasy Football Scout community the smoothest of landings as we begin preparations for another Double Gameweek take-off.

Jonty, Andy and Az join me for the Gameweek 35 post-mortem, as, driven by your questions, we ponder whether this season’s debut chip has rendered the blanks as the best opportunity for a rank hike.

However, this is no time to rest on our laurels, with another double-header looming. That fuels discussion on Manchester City, Spurs and even Swansea City’s players; assets at opposite ends of the Fantasy spectrum, united by the potential of two fixtures in Gameweek 37.

To invest in those spoils, we need to make sacrifices, so we assess the midfield makeweights and ponder if Marcos Alonso can finally shake Jonty’s curse, or whether we should all cash in on the Blues banned wing-back.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday evening. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      This is the key question for my WC team. I think Spurs' fixtures are so strong to the end of the season that a raft of clean sheets is not out of the question. Vert will play all of them. It's prudent to assume Davies will miss one, so you'll probably need at least an assist from him to score the same as Vert.

      I think if you're level or chasing in a ML, go with Vert. If you're chasing, Bavies.

    Chasing rival (20 points back) has Sterling, but no Chelsea or Brighton. Only thing that matters = beating him...so, thoughts on:

    Alonso & Gross -> Klavan & Sterling? (-4)

    Or...

    Play Chilwell + Kennedy/Barnes this week and save 2 ahead of GW37?

      I’d do sane or bilva. They’re just as explosive and when ur paying 4pts u don’t wanna be doing it for the exact same player ur rival has. Plus Sterling may very well be rested. Sane & Bilva have more chances of starting. Lastly definitely don’t save transfer cuz ur running out of time..

    Hi All

    On WC here and wondering how its looking? Will TC in 37 and BB 38, unless anyone has some advice? Chasing ML rival by 15 points.

    DDG
    Smalling Davies Klavan
    D Silva Gross Son Salah Milivojevic
    Jesus Kane(C)

    (Fab, J,Ayew Agbonna Dunk)

    Thanks in advance!

          wouldn't go Brighton on WC first off

          if you're making a BB squad then I think you need a full house of DGW players (Klavan and Mili out for Dummett and Kenedy?)

          would also steer clear of Smalling - starts aren't certain

      Team looks good. Maybe get rid of 2 Liverpool players for one Man City and one Spurs in 37 for a hit to get 15 DGW players and use BB in 37 and TC in 38?

    bench Auba for Long ? , serious question , i just reckon a Burnley clean sheet is more likely than the Arsenal B team scoring at OT this weekend

    Ederson
    Smalling-Walker-Lowton
    Arni-Salah-Willian-Erikson
    Auba-Jesus-Giroud

    1FT and 0.5 spare. Lukaku > Jesus?

    Vertonghen - Chilwell - Lowton

    Bottomed last page.

    Undecided on this as am 90% playing bench boost this week rather than next week - set up much better this week essentially and it will allow me to make more attacking transfers next week instead of replacing Lowton, Adrian etc.

    However, worth removing Mustafi for a hit for any defender at 5.4m or lower?
    Thinking Bertrand, Cedric, Trippier maybe (risky), Lascelles (double Newcastle). Or just keep Mustafi and take his 2 points max.

              can't see it personally, I think West Ham will play deep and frustrate City

              saying that, I still think they'll win 2 or 3 nil, but next week is the week to get City attackers imo as we have more clarification on who may be starting both DGW games

                Will we though? Sterling and Jesus are surely the top options for Pep and would play every week if games were once a week and Aguero was out

              Yeah I´d like to have Eriksen. Wish we knew if Sterling will play. Jesus seems the only City attacker nailed at the moment.

          Either to be honest.

                City probably do score two or three but impossible to really tell whom - chances are you bring in Silva and he might get rested etc. Plus I think Alonso in 37 could be a really good option.

          I have a similar team with Alli and Willian instead of Son and Arnie.

          VDH not nailed. Naughton is a better option.

          Save and hope City don't go bonkers!

            I'm thinking of keeping Auba for the DGW. With no Europa, he should start both games.

            Thinking of
            Albrighton -> King
            Willian -> David Silva

            How does it sound?

            Thanks. He's definitely more attacking but West Ham are prone to major collapses and conceding 4 goals. Reckon they'll do ok against Leicester (a) and Utd (h)?

              No not really.
              But Newcastle I can see conceding a few vs Spurs. United might not have the best team out and Leicester have stopped scoring bundles. In West Ham's favour they do still need the points, Newcastle don't so much.

        DDG Ryan

        Salah Sanchez Son Willian Gudmunson
        Kane Vardy Barnes

        1FT, 0.3 in bank
