We now check in with the form of a number of Double Gameweek 37 candidates in our regular analysis of the members’ Opta data.

Man City’s attack shows no signs of complacency since clinching the title, while Southampton appear to have reason for optimism in their bid to beat the drop.

Meanwhile, we assess the recent showings of Spurs and Leicester’s frontmen, while Man United and Chelsea’s midfield make a late claim for our attention ahead of Friday evening’s deadline.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Anyone keeping Salah for the Chelsea match? I can see a drained Liverpool being turned over by Hazard and co.

Am sooo close to switching for Hazard as I will be able to switch straight back for GW38 if Salah drops 0.1m this week.

I would only sell for a premium city or spurs mid. Else just hold.

I've got Alli, Eriksen, Sané and Stelring, so I'd only be selling for Hazard, Pogba or Ramsey and taking a -4 to get a premium DGW defender (except if getting Hazard).

So, it would be Hazard + Bednarek or Pogba/Ramsey + any def.

Another alternative would be to bench Salah and switch Barnes for J.Ayew.

I can see the appeal... I’ll be honest it’s not straightforward.

If you enjoy the thrill of a DGW you can justify it that way ?

I'm not afraid to have a punt, put it that way. I'll sit tight for now and watch the CL game tomorrow. I'm not so much worried by Salah but the weakened Liverpool team that may play.

    De Gea
    Vertonghen, Alonso, Morgan
    Sanchez, Willian, Sterling, Gross
    Barnes, Kane, Vardy

Subs: Ryan --- Milivojevic, Femenia, Lowton --- 1 FT, 0.5 ITB

    A) Vardy & Sanchez -> Jesus & Eriksen (-4)
    B) Vardy, Sanchez & Willian -> Jesus, Alli & David Silva (-8)

Selling a defender with a double home game week where one of the games is against a team that hasnt won an away game in over 4 months and the other is a relegation candidate is LOL-worthy, regardless of what they said on Scoutcast.

If you take into account GW38 it should.

In addition Morgan may actually lose his place. He comes back and they lost 5-0 v palace

I have Robertson, Vertonghen and Smalling in my team. A Swansea defender won't be in my starting 11 in GW38 anyway.

GW38 is notorious for rotation. I wouldn’t be surprised if he pops up in your lineup.

But you’ve clearly made your mind up and that’s cool. Out of the two I’d play Morgan

Most people have a Burnley defender or something who will easily take place in the starting 11 for gw38.

depends if they're being sold this GW for a DGW'er. I have Long and Lowton and am worried about Long still being in the starting line up for the last game of the season.

Plus, Bournemouth aren't too shabby at scoring.

          3. Cok3y5murf

I agree completely. There's no way I'm selling for a hit. Was just checking with him.

The hit itself cancels out one clean sheet that Swansea may keep. Even if Morgan blanks in both, Swansea would have to keep 2 clean sheets for you to have any significant profit. It doesn't make sense.

            1. Richd
              • 13 Years

I’d take into account GW38 as well.

I’d also take into account he may not play both.

                I've commented above regarding GW38.

Whether he won't play is mostly speculation. If he doesn't play both, I have Robertson coming on from the bench, not too bad. If he plays one and gets 2 points, and Swansea keep 1 clean sheet, after a hit, it's 4 points. A net of 2 points isn't worth risking a hit for. They'd still need to keep 2 clean sheets and that's very unlikely.

Gundogan super unlikely to start both games right?

    Fernandinho probably better...

I definitely think you were right. Fernandinho should be more nailed for sure. He seems to be like the Kante/ matic level of nailed.

get Sané and Jesus in by selling Vardy, Mahrez and Alonso.

Not really doable with Sterling too. Would mean a -12 without a good place to get the extra cash needed

Ah, didn't see that you have no Man City.

How much would you be left with for a defender if you did Vardy, Mahrez, Alonso out for Jesus, Sterling?

A little yeaser for you. For GW37, would you rather:

    a) Arnie and Matic; or
    b) Willian and Jayew?

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. Barnes to Jayew is such a nautural transfer and leave Willian in the team because West Ham are rubbish. But stilla huge part of me that thinks Arnie will outscore Willian by more than 4 points before the end of the season. Hmmmm.

    Morgan,Mahrez,Willian > Smalling,Sterling,Ramsey

This whole arsenal out has unlocked everything potentially.

        I was so set on Barnes,Dunk,Mahrez > Ayew,Sterling,Smalling

        Now that may change!

    How risky is Sane TC?

I don't think it's too risky. My only concern is that at home he tends to play wider because the opposition park the bus. His goals recently have all come away from home.

That said, he's had a fair bit of rest and I think he'll start both.

      1. Messsiaah
        • 10 Years

Yes. He is definitely gonna start both of the games.
And against two weak sides who are vulnerable against pace

    Considering a -12.

Sell: Simpson + Son + Mahrez + Wood + Vardy
    Buy: Danilo + Arnie + Sterling + J.ayew + Jesus

Seems to me that all of the "buy" players are likely to outscore the "sell" players by 4 points or more (over 3 matches). Which of these transfers are not worth a hit in your opinion?

    1. Prøfeßör …
      • 9 Years

Son to Arnie and Simpson to Danilo (unless Walker is confirmed out).

Thanks Bear. I I can simply tsay that the other 3 transfers are my "hits". Neat.

I personally think Son is poor value for the final 2 GWs. I think he'll likely get around 150mins out of the possible 270mins, with Lemela and Lucas around. Plus Spurs look pretty limp

52 point lead on main rival in money league.

    My team:
    DDG
    Chilwell Christensen** Lowton
    Salah Son Willian** Sterling Gross
    Jesus Kane(TC)

    Ryan Morgan Barnes Dunk

    Rival:
    Pope Adrian
    Mustafi Ota Davies Tark Yedlin
    Sterling Pogba Ramsey Mili Salah
    Kane Auba Barnes

    both have TC left

How do I neutralize the threats?
