We now check in with the form of a number of Double Gameweek 37 candidates in our regular analysis of the members’ Opta data.

Man City’s attack shows no signs of complacency since clinching the title, while Southampton appear to have reason for optimism in their bid to beat the drop.

Meanwhile, we assess the recent showings of Spurs and Leicester’s frontmen, while Man United and Chelsea’s midfield make a late claim for our attention ahead of Friday evening’s deadline.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Willian Vardy Christensen -> Fernandinho Jesus Smalling

Good moves? Probably captaining Jesus. Kane sucks.

With those transfers my GW 38 team looks much better too. I don't want to play Vardy against Spurs. Christensen will probably start max 1 out the remaining 3 matches. Willian apparently doesn't fit in the Chelsea's current formation; subbed-in 1-pointers, no thank you.

Apart from Jesus, the players you're getting are not that impressive and even he comes in for Vardy. Wouldn't bet on Jesus outscoring him by much.

God knows what Mourinho is capable of. Bailly could be back in the picture after missing out due to illness.

    Thoughts on the following?

Sanchez and Albrighton to Sterling and Pogba. Would leave me with:

    De Gea (Ryan)
    Alonso Smalling Chilwell (Lowton, Morgan)
    Sterling Son Pogba Arnie (Westwood)
    Kane(tc) Auba Barnes

Or would you prefer Ramsey to Pogba or do something completely different?

Dunno how much Pep likes Danilo.

I remember when Mendy got injured and everyone got excited about Danilo, only for Zinchenko and Delph to turn up on the left.

Wouldn't be surprised if Danilo got one game and a youngster gets a go for the other. Surely City must have some talented young right backs in their squad, who'd love a chance.

        Seen this earlier...

Of the 3 PL games that Walker did not start this year (GW17@SWA; GW33vsMUN; & GW35vsSWA), Danilo started ALL 3. Walker subbed OFF in two games (GW28 & GW36). Danilo subbed ON for him in GW36 but he STARTED GW28 at LB, so was unavailable to sub on.

          You're probably right.

But I think there's a chance Pep could give a youngster a game at RB, or Zinchenko even. It's a perfect opportunity for it.

    a) Play A. King - bou/SOT
    b) Play Barnes - ars
    c) Barnes to Jayew (-4) - bou/SOT

I'm looking to get Ayew, but not really expecting much from him tbh. Worried Swansea will park the bus to secure staying up. Barnes has been in great form and was unlucky not to score in the last game. Ars not solid at the back, I'd consider going with him.

Glad Tadic got a mention. Brought him in for Willian last nite to afford Jesus (TC)

    Probably troll me again tho.

Iv closed an 80 pt gap to go 22 pts ahead, he has WC and BB. Im playing TC this wk my last chip. Iv always had Kane he has Jesus

I got Jesus last nite and i know he will get Kane (has 3m itb) for Firmino.

Should i TC Sterling or Jesus??

Cant trust Kane after last nite. Somethings up with him i think.

    7k overall with this team:

    DDG
    Morgan - Christensen - Naughton
    Alli - Sterling - Gross - Willian
    Kane - Vardy - Jesus

Bench: Ryan, Gud, Tark and Lowton.

    0.9M ITB and 0FT.

If Walker is out for a couple of weeks I will probably do Christensen and Gross to Danilo and Arnautovic..

If not, what are my best options here? Gross out for a 6.9M? Ramsey and Tadic the stand out options..?

hi guys a bit of a different opinion needed....

ive have dilva, sterling and walker as man city atm.... with walker likely to be injured do I do-

A would leave me with 11 dgw players whearas B would leave me with 10 and van aanholt/robertson

Looks like big hits for GW 32/33 Wcers this gw and yet they wouldn't have 3 Spurs and City assets each.

Time to make up some serious ground.

      Things must fall in place.

Most of us have made up such massive ground since WC’ing, even a -8 is a tiny blot tbf.

Made up somewhere between 20-30 on GW 32/33 WCers with my WC last GW.

The hits people take and my BB should give me another 20-25 points push. We shall see.

Currently I'm 58 points ahead of you since GW 32, 50 if I'm taking this GW's 8-point hit in to account.

I'll wait for the next 2 GWs then.

And this is with having some very bad picks like Mahrez, Willian, Son, Morgan, CHRISTENSEN (no Smalling)

I messed up on my FH. Lost around 25 points there. For e.g Sanchez, Ibe over Gudmundsson etc.

I had some slight errors with the GW 35 FH. Femenia (1) over Tomkins (6) and VvD (1) over Baines (8). Otherwise it was good.

Just checked link. 21k in gw31 to 29k now seems like waiting wasn’t the right call. Will need a huge B.B. to make up. Nothing personal btw, just find strategies very interesting this time of year.

You made up 7 on me, and doubt you made up as much as you claim on the majority. This was boring weeks ago, give it a rest.

Both strategies had their own advantages and disadvantages over the other. There was no clear correct option. Hopefully there will be some metrics available at the end of the season to show who fared better

Firmino and Salah > Aubu and Dilva? (-4)

          Thoughts on this for -8?

          DDG
          Christensen, Morgan, Vertonghen
          Salah, Sterling, Willian, Groß, Son
          Kane, Vardy

          Ryan, Murray, Lowton, Tarkowski

          Christensen > Smalling
          Salah > Pogba
          Vardy > Jesus

I dunno why you'd want a hit for outfield United options when they've nothing to play for except the cup final

Would have 8.2 to replace Salah unless I go with a cheaper option than Smalling.

          Tarkowski/Lowton/Morgan/Willian/Son/Barnes to
          Mawson/Dummett/Smalling/Arnie/Ramsey/Jayew for a -16?

Lukaku owner here (and already have Kane and Jesus). Going to drop him for Aubameyang or Lacazette (I'm expecting Arsenal to be eliminated from Europe on Thursday). Which of these two Arsenal Forwards would you go with?
