We now check in with the form of a number of Double Gameweek 37 candidates in our regular analysis of the members’ Opta data.

Man City’s attack shows no signs of complacency since clinching the title, while Southampton appear to have reason for optimism in their bid to beat the drop.

Meanwhile, we assess the recent showings of Spurs and Leicester’s frontmen, while Man United and Chelsea’s midfield make a late claim for our attention ahead of Friday evening’s deadline.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    Thoughts on mega differentials transfer?

Mega differential but if you are chasing - go for it 🙂

Christensen to Danilo if Walker is out sounds like a good move, right? Also does Willian or Mahrez out for a hit sound wasteful?

Odd question but I still have Dunk so play him and hope for attacking results or just hope that Morgan plays both matches and somehow get a CS?

I don't think Morgan will play both. Rather play Dunk. 2 chances to get attacking returns but also 2 chances to get -1/-2 for GC.

Already on a -4 and currently own Jesus & D.Silva. Only way to get Sterling is -8 for D.Silva. Top 100 OR (if it matters). Go with Sterling or pray D.Silva starts and does well?

Depends what your goal is. If you are holding a ML advantage - then no sense in taking the hit unless you are covering for the squads of those chasing. If you are chasing a better position or a ML - then the hit is the riskier move but with better odds of getting you the points.

      1. Haugli
        • 10 Years
        7 years, 11 months ago

Chasing ML. Guy has Sterling and ahead of me with 14 points.

My differentials vs him; Pogba and D.Silva (Also have King & Bailly, but that's insignificant).
His differentials vs me: Smalling, Sterling, Christensen, Cork

        It's either Bailly -> Smalling/Danilo for -4 (-8 in total) or D.Silva -> Sterling.

I'd say no to the -8. Season is almost over, and not too many people will captain Sterling, so even if he hauls, damage should be limited.

      1. Haugli
        • 10 Years
        7 years, 11 months ago

I have a feeling my ML rival will captain him though. He took my long and comfortable 1st place in the minileague just recently by captaining differentials (Sterling last dgw).

I have the exact funds for the move. If Sterling rises or D.Silva falls one more time i can't make the move. I'm thinking D.Silva will probably start vs HUD as they receive trophy after the game. Sterling is in his best form ever though...

Just see each hit individually. Taking more seems excessive but it won't if they return. I don't see the point in doing it for cheap defenders, but there probaby are mids out there who will outscore Willian before the end of the season. Just be sure to pick the right one!

    On free hit this week.

    Fabianski
    Vertonghen, Smalling, Monreal
    Sané, Sterling, Son, Pogba
    Kane, Jesus, Rashford

Do you think Rashford will play with Lukaku potentially out? Could he be good differential?

He has started 13 of the last 14 games, was injured against WBA (head injury) and subbed at half time and missed the next game.

Yes he may get sacrificed if Swans are chasing a game but that has happens just once in 13 starts since Swans went to 5 at the back, more often than not the defensive mid gets hooked and the full backs push on

              (Swans fan)

Cheers, I went Fabs and Mawson ... VdH is the least nailed of the 3 center halves, but 2 others were injured last week and Naughton went to CB with the young lad Connor Roberts starting at right back. If ever Swans were going to 4 at the back it would have been last week.

      • 10 Years

Just get VDH, most nailed and best fixtures combo

CR is a right back and Rangel is fit again so lots of competition there with Naughton

Of course you could go for Ogbonna 😉

Yeah Sane was probably my preferred one, it's just whether he is worth the -4 really, for example if he plays one and blanks, then doesn't play the other (possible!) then it's a -2 compared to a near enough guaranteed 4pts for Mahrez

Morning dzz, Thoughts on the next move? 30points behind ML leader but with the TC in hand

    Ddg — Ryan
Smalling Maguire alonso Cedric — lowton
Son pogba willian mahrez — king
    Kane Jesus

    A: mahrez > sterling..leaves 0.2m itb. Will need a hit in gw38 (alonso/sterling) to xxx/salah

B: Maguire + mahrez >> Davies + sterling (-4) exact funds. Then another hit in gw38 for salah

    C: Alonso + willian >> naughton + sterling (-4)...can then be punty in gw38 and do sterling/mahrez >> salah/zaha (or arnie/Ramsey)

    D: same as C (i.e. Alonso + willian >> naughton + sterling (-4)) but then can then keep sterling in gw38 and do Maguire/mahrez >> cheapie + salah (-4))
