We now check in with the form of a number of Double Gameweek 37 candidates in our regular analysis of the members’ Opta data.

Man City’s attack shows no signs of complacency since clinching the title, while Southampton appear to have reason for optimism in their bid to beat the drop.

Meanwhile, we assess the recent showings of Spurs and Leicester’s frontmen, while Man United and Chelsea’s midfield make a late claim for our attention ahead of Friday evening’s deadline.

Top of all my leagues.....Salah >

    A - Sterling (safety net)
B - D Silva (will play both games)
    C - Sane
    D - KDB

if you can spread funds to upgrade elsewhere then sterling, if its just one move then may aswell get kdb at this stage of season

Your call - Sterling will cover most; think Sane might get the most minutes, together with KDB. Honestly think Silva gets very few minutes (if any)

It seems more likely that Silva will play the first game along with all the first choicers as that's the game after which they'll be presented with the trophy. Then the next game might be more of the likes of Toure, Foden, Gundogan, etc. Just speculation on my part of course.

I'm priced out of keeping Vardy now so I'm looking at:

    Bailly, Salah & Vardy - > Mawson, Sterling & Jesus (-8)

This leaves funds over for D. Silva/Son - > Salah for free in gwk 38.

    Look good?.

Mawson here for the same reason, they could keep cleanie and if they don´t he is the main target on free kick and corners. A little bit expensive though

Not wanting to be too critical but you have posted this quite a few times already Viper. From whom are you seeking confirmation for this? You are a competent manager and I'd trust my own instincts if I was you 🙂 That -8 looks fine for me and I'd probably do that yes.

I am very "anti-hit" this late in a season. And I'll explain why:

      You start off at -8
Let's say Salah returns his average of 8
And Vardy returns his average of 9 (4.7 x 2)

That leaves you needing 27 from Sterling and Jesus to break even, not to mention the use of your FT to get Salah *back in* next week.

Whereas you could just do Bailly to Mawson this week, and then use the funds saved for your FT in 38 (Vardy to Jesus?). Or bring in a better option than Mawson this week (Spurs/City defender?) as you won't need to save funds to get Salah back next week.

TL;dr - I am very against dropping players who will play (especially when they are nailed and have a DGW) for a hit

I’m not sure I agree with this as a general rule. Salah has an unusually high average

Fair - but 8 points is hardly a huge return. There's no reason why another SGW player couldn't get a single goal (e.g. Zaha, Walcott, Richarlison - early season, less so now lol). I get that you are increasing the minutes played, and therefore the chance of returns. But with very few games left you are limiting the time in which the hit can pay off.

Minutes they going to play, opposition, teams form, individual form... so many thing to consider.

I might just toss a coin beetwen Kane & Sterling.

    DDG
    Morgan - Christensen - Naughton
    Alli - Sterling - Gross - Willian
    Kane - Vardy - Jesus

Bench: Ryan, Gud, Tark and Lowton.

    0.9M ITB and 0FT.

If Walker is out for a couple of weeks I will probably do Christensen and Gross to Danilo and Arnautovic..

If not, what are my best options here? Gross out for a 6.9M? Ramsey and Tadic the stand out options..?

7k overall and quite tight in my cash leagues so hits are costly at this point..

    Current team is:

    DDG

    Morgan / Cedric / Vertonghen

    Willian / Mahrez / Sterling / Son

    Kane / Jesus / Barnes

    0.9 ITB, 1FT.

    Considering a -8 for either:

What I've read Danilo will depend on Walker availability. It may be worth a punt. Leicester are horrendous at the moment.
