Our Fantasy Premier League Cup has reached its penultimate stage as we reveal the four managers to make it through to the semi-finals.

The draw has been kind to the two highest-ranked remaining competitors, who swerve each other in the last four, which takes place across Double Gameweek 37.

With a rank of 1,880 Batmaniac is the top placed manager in the competition, after seeing off BroTown Tindersticks in the quarter-finals. This high-flyer has booked himself a semi-final clash with Boxing Can Girouds, whose 11,947-placed team overcame dmcqt in the previous round.

Both these semi-finalists have only their Triple Captain chip left to play, having used the Wildcard in Gameweek 32.

However, underdog Boxing Can Girouds may have the advantage. He has already spent a transfer hit in Gameweek 36 to bring in Man City pair Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus to join the likes of Harry Kane and Paul Pogba.

Meanwhile, Batmaniac used just one transfer to bring in Spurs full-back Ben Davies last time out and is currently without any of Pep Guardiola’s troops. At least one four-point hit seems likely if he is to make the most of City’s favourable home games against Huddersfield and Brighton.

The other semi-final encounter sees 5,861 placed PetesBlair square up to the round’s lowest ranked manager 2EyedTurk, who is in 25,071 spot.

As with the other semi-finalists this pair only have their Triple Captain chip to call on.

The lower ranked manager also has the advantage in this tie in terms of Man City assets. 2EyedTurk defeated UTK in the quarter-finals with an impressive score of 66 thanks to his three City stars, Jesus, Sterling and Leroy Sane, who between them netted 28 points.

PetesBlair meanwhile only had Jesus among City assets in his side in a quarter-final victory over Mr Cookie. It seems likely that Sterling will be one of his key targets, with misfiring Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez potentially getting the boot on the back of five straight blanks.

The full quarter final results can be found here, while the semi final draw can be found here.

Was thinking of doing Groß to Arnie, don't think Ramsey will play both games so avoiding him.

      i'm considering something similar

      keep salah
      salah > alli (-4)
      salah > hazard (-4)

leaning towards keeping salah now as that's one less transfer back in for 38

Really need some help, I'm 1pt behind top spot in my ML & guy ahead of me will not let any of us live it down if he wins at the end of the season.

    0FT, 1.7ITB

    Fabianski/Ryan
    Smalling/Davies/Chilwell/Tarkowski/Christensen
    Sterling/Son/Sanchez/Willian/A.King
    Jesus(TC)/Vardy/Murray

I know my team isn't in great shape (WC didn't work out in GW34)
The other guy has Kane, should I try & shoehorn him in? I would have to take a -8 to do so - is it worth it?

Well, I did Austin to Ayew for -4.
For the reason that Austin doesn't start both games and
Ayew has a good GW38 fixture and Austin doesn't.
For Barnes who has a good 38 fixture , I'd still do it.

            That's correct! 🙂

I don't expect much form Fernandinho, he plays too deep. J.Ayew is an ok option for his price but Swansea don't score many goals.I like Alonso though.

The real difference between the 2 is Vardy, he can actually deliver some good points. King is in a bit of form and VDH is a good option (Better than Ayew imo).

Fancied Lukaku against an under strength Arsenal team. Didn't think it would be worth the hit.

    Salah/Duffy > Eriksen/BDavies (-4) should pay dividends right?

I reckon so Swish. A lot of people will be afraid to lose Salah but he has a tough game and a game I don't think they will win compared to Eriksen's 2 fixtures.

For your 2nd transfer, Davies is good but would you consider Willian to Sane/Pogba if you have the funds? Could potentially be worth more points. Can't see Willian starting both games.

Pep more or less said he'll keep playing best team, although still think Sterling/Sane/B.Silva could rotate:

"Just like the last game against Swansea, we take it seriously and we respect the competition ... Huddersfield, Brighton, Southampton, they deserve for us to be who we are all season. It wouldn't be fair to them if we came down here for a holiday. We have to show who we are, who we've been all season, that's why we scored nine goals in two games."

      DDG Hennessey
      Morgan Fernandez Kiko (Dunk Lowton)
      Salah Sterling Zaha Willian (Mili)
      Kane Jesus Auba

Planning on doing Auba > JAyew, to make funds to bring in Eriksen and possibly Dunk > Vert for a hit

Who would you drop for Eriksen?
      A) Willian
      B) Salah (will have to get him back in for GW38)

Leaning on Willian, it gives me an extra free transfer to upgrade def in 38

      Your thoughts?

      Planned transfers:

Baily Tark to Smalling Mawson (-4)
      which gives me:

      De Gea
      Smalling Vert Mawson
      AKing Son Sterling Mahrez
      Kane Vardy Jesus

      Ryan, Morgan, Lowton, Gudm

For me rather than upgrading your defense I think the priority would be taking out Mahrez (and maybe even Vardy)
