Our Fantasy Premier League Cup has reached its penultimate stage as we reveal the four managers to make it through to the semi-finals.

The draw has been kind to the two highest-ranked remaining competitors, who swerve each other in the last four, which takes place across Double Gameweek 37.

With a rank of 1,880 Batmaniac is the top placed manager in the competition, after seeing off BroTown Tindersticks in the quarter-finals. This high-flyer has booked himself a semi-final clash with Boxing Can Girouds, whose 11,947-placed team overcame dmcqt in the previous round.

Both these semi-finalists have only their Triple Captain chip left to play, having used the Wildcard in Gameweek 32.

However, underdog Boxing Can Girouds may have the advantage. He has already spent a transfer hit in Gameweek 36 to bring in Man City pair Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus to join the likes of Harry Kane and Paul Pogba.

Meanwhile, Batmaniac used just one transfer to bring in Spurs full-back Ben Davies last time out and is currently without any of Pep Guardiola’s troops. At least one four-point hit seems likely if he is to make the most of City’s favourable home games against Huddersfield and Brighton.

The other semi-final encounter sees 5,861 placed PetesBlair square up to the round’s lowest ranked manager 2EyedTurk, who is in 25,071 spot.

As with the other semi-finalists this pair only have their Triple Captain chip to call on.

The lower ranked manager also has the advantage in this tie in terms of Man City assets. 2EyedTurk defeated UTK in the quarter-finals with an impressive score of 66 thanks to his three City stars, Jesus, Sterling and Leroy Sane, who between them netted 28 points.

PetesBlair meanwhile only had Jesus among City assets in his side in a quarter-final victory over Mr Cookie. It seems likely that Sterling will be one of his key targets, with misfiring Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez potentially getting the boot on the back of five straight blanks.

The full quarter final results can be found here, while the semi final draw can be found here.

If you've stuck with Alonso up to now, you may as well stick. Unless you want to use the cash else where.

I am also considering dropping Son.

Sanchez likely to start both games? Chasing and looking at high end differentials...

Already have him by the way, trying to call whether to downgrade to maybe Hazard and use the cash (and a -4) to turn Vardy > Jesus

    Yes or no?

(also makes Jesus a diff as leader has Vardy and can't/won't be getting Jesus)

A'noon all. Would really appreciate some help. 0FT, 1.8 ITB. Currently on:

    DDG (Ryan)
Azpil - Smalling - VDH (Morgan, Lowton)
    Sterling - Son - Mahrez - Willian - Kenedy
    Kane - Jesus (c) - Barnes

    A - Mahrez & Barnes to Eriksen & J Ayew. Go 343, play Willian.
B - Mahrez & Willian to Alli & Sane. Go 352 play kenedy

Was set to do A as it allows me to do Eriksen to Salah straight in gw38, but Willian's lack of mins is worrying.

    Ta !

I have about a 40 point lead in my ML and am trying to decide in between these 2 options

I already have Sterling+Jesus and Son

Lukaku and Salah out (-4) for Kane and Sane

    or

Lukaku, Salah and Willian out (-8) for Kane, Eriksen, and Lingard

    1. DJ1000
      • 11 Years
      8 years, 1 month ago

Go 1st option. Don’t trust lingard. Could get rotated with the likes of Mata. Man City have great fixtures and you have the best 3 for me. Combined with Kane and son should defend the lead you have. May force your rivals to make silly decisions and bring in rubbish differentials

      1. norths
        • 16 Years
        8 years, 1 month ago

I am leaning towards the first one as well but Willian seems to be as much of a rotation risk as Lingard now. Hope he gets some proper minutes in the double week.

Think Willian will start one. Just think 2 decent home games and he could have had a big score against west Ham if it hadn’t been for hart

Option A - the easy option.

Mahrez & Vardy > Arnautovic and Jesus (-4). Play Gross.

Option B - the Sane option.

Mahrez, Vardy & Gross > Sane, Jesus & Kenedy or other sub £5m mid (-8).

    A or B?

    What guys think of this?

    DSG
    Jones* Chilwell Davies
    Salah Mahrez Sterling Arnie
    Kane Jesus Wood*

    Schmeichel Mili Kiko Lowton

    a) Jones Wood > Ota Ayew (-4)
    b) Jones > 5.5 Danilo/Naughton
    c) Salah Jones > Eriksen Valencia (-4)

Path of least destruction appears to be (a) but ayew does not inspire me...

    On my BB

    DDG - Elliot
    Moses - Vert - Davies - Naughton - Mee
    Willian - Kennedy - Salah - Mili - Sterling
    Kane - Barnes - Vardy

    Thinking about a -12
Salah>Arnie (or sane/D.silva depending on how ballsy i feel with rotation)
    Vardy>Jesus
    Mee>Smalling
    Elliot>Fabianski

Giving me 13 DGW players all with good or atleast decent fixtures in both games. Any thoughts?

    A) Mahrez/Deeney > Eriksen/J.Ayew
    B) Mahrez/Deeney/Alonso > A.King/Naughton/Kane (-4)

Have TC available (for Jesus or Kane if he comes in), 36 points clear in mini league (main rival has TC too), fear not having Kane but gut says non-Kane moves look better.

To Kane or not to Kane?

    DDG/Cech
    Alonso/Tarky/Lowton/Morgan/Dummett
    Salah/Arnie/Sterling/Gudmundsson/Mahrez
    Jesus/Vardy/Deeney
