With Stoke City tumbling out of the Premier League with their defeat to Crystal Palace, events now turn to four afternoon kick-offs.

Fantasy managers will be fixated on the encounter at The Hawthorns which now has even greater significance following the result at the bet365 Stadium.

Harry Kane goes into this match as the most popular captain pick with the backing of over a million Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers.

More importantly, some 49.3% of the 385,000+ Triple Captain chips in play are trusted on the Spurs striker. His output in this match, and on Wednesday at home to Newcastle, will be crucial to the outcome of mini-leagues and in deciding the FPL crown.

Kane continues to give chase to Mohamed Salah in the race for the Golden Boot, but will do so in a Spurs line-up without Ben Davies and Son Heung-min who both drop to the bench.

Elsewhere today, Jordan Ayew takes over 143,000 new owners into Swansea City’s trip to Bournemouth as they go in search of the three points that will go a long way to earning them safety.

Meanwhile, at the King Power Stadium, Leicester City will host West Ham with the Hammers also looking to confirm their top flight status by earning a point.

Fantasy managers will hope that Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez will repay their recent Wildcard investment, with the latter heading into this game on the back of a disappointing run of five successive blanks.

For West Ham, Arnautovic has the backing of 58,000+ new owners as he bids to add to his tally of ten goals and five assists from his previous 16 starts.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

many people TC'ed a player who was clearly half fit, in rotten form and in need of a rest yet are now going claim they were "unlucky" ??

I didn't captain him and don't think that he is in a good form, but why would he be in need of a rest. He's been playing once a week for at least a couple of weeks now.

Only home from being out all day. I presume vertonghen went off injured? Is arnoutovic in trouble or will he get away with further action after receiving yellow?

    1. Klaren
      • 8 Years
      8 years, 2 months ago

Didn't watch the game so not sure what he did but if he got a yellow for whatever it was, then it means he won't get a ban as the only way FA will take retrospective action is when the ref didn't see it. He was injured though so might still miss out the remaining games if it's serious.

Very tiny smooth is Morgan to Cresswell on a -4 worked well but Kane TC is a huge rough. Though he hauls VD Newcastle cant see him getting near Jesus or sterling tbh

Kane TCrs how are you feeling? Think he'd have been doing very well to bag 6 pts in that game given the stakes, he's lucky he got 2 pts thanks to a fine save from Lloris so you can't really complain too much. Still has Newcastle to play, surely that's where was to be expected before placing the armband on him

    1. IAWC ( It's a Wonderfu…
      • 8 Years
      8 years, 2 months ago

Yup but now comparing with Jesus and Sterling now, Kane TC looks like a fail on hindsight. I expected only one goal and 6 to 8 points today. Didn't happen

At this rate my goal is to pass the 3 point 'haul' he gave his TC-ers in GW22 😛

I was always realistic - I really wanted to TC Sterling but I chickened out due to fears of rotation. I didn't have illusions that Kane would score back-to-back hat-tricks, but was hoping for something like a 6 point outing vs. WBA plus 8 vs. Newcastle. Something like that.

He looked awful just before getting back to back hat tricks, and he's still scored in his last 2 games. All nonsense in my opinion.

Completely different circumstances. He was fully fit then and his stats were far far better than they are now. Factor in WBAs recent form and Kane's recent displays and its anything but nonsense

Yes fully fit now. He's played enough minutes to be. Expectations are just far too high, likelihood is he'll probably get a hat trick against Newcastle, and then all of a sudden he's "inform"
