Fantasy Premier League have revealed six prices ahead of launching the official game for the 2018/19 season.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero was the first to be announced, coming in at £11.0m. That’s £0.5m lower than his starting price for 2017/18 after a season of rotation and injuries.

However, his most recent total score of 169 was just six short of his 2016/17 from 500 fewer minutes. If Aguero can hold down a starting place at City, with Gabriel Jesus potentially returning late from the World Cup, priced at £11.0m he could attract decent ownership.

Going in the opposite direction is Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino who has risen from £8.5m to £9.5m after his best ever season on Merseyside. The Brazilian scored 15 goals and assisted eight times, finishing the campaign in over a third of squads worldwide.

Manchester United and Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku has seen his price drop by £0.5m this season going from £11.5m to £11.0m. He scored 16 goals and provided seven assists in his first campaign at Old Trafford, amassing an overall total of 162 points. Surprisingly, that was considerably lower than the 221 he registered in his final year at Everton.

Another player who struggled with injury last season is Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard, whose price has been frozen at £10.5m. His first return of 2017/18 did not come until Gameweek 9 and his total score of 173 was some way short of the 224 he registered in the previous campaign.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka remains in the mid-range midfield bracket with a price of £5.5m. His total of eight assists was only bettered among Arsenal midfielders by Aaron Ramsey (10), Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan (both nine).

Meanwhile, star Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves has been priced up at £5.0m for his first season in the Premier League, while Fulham wing-back Ryan Sessegnon has been classified as a midfielder.

interesting odds on the sweden vs england game which I find surprising to say the least...even a double chance sweden (sweden or draw) in 90 mins is priced at 1.90 .. really good odds imo.. all the bookies believe it's coming home and are underestimating sweden 😉

Brazil will likely switch to a 4-4-2 due to Casemiro's suspension. Paulinho will be a part of the double pivot.

Alisson, Fagner, Thiago Silva, Miranda, Marcelo; Coutinho, Fernandinho, Paulinho, Willian; Neymar, Gabriel Jesus.

It was tested in training today so it's looking likely, imo. Tite clearly sees Fernandinho as a different type of player to Casemiro (probably rightly so).

He'll need support defensively from the likes of Paulinho and the wingers, especially against a team as attacking as Belgium.

So many FPL heavyweights praised themselves to the hills for switching morata to firmino when there was LITERALLY no other option in attack.

It wasn't a genius move. It was dumb luck and a complete lack of choice.

    Alisson (Fodder)*
    Carvajal* T.Silva Strinic Granqvist Pavard
    Coutinho Modric Isco* Claesson Quintero*
    Kane Lukaku Griezmann

For Isco I'm thinking A) Rakitic B) Willian
For Carvajal I'm not really sure but thinking either 1) Trippier 2) Maguire
For Quintero C) Cheryshev D) Golovin but open to suggestions.

Can't afford Golovin with these options, and A1C is too expensive.

Cheryshev likely to start do you think or danger of being on bench again? Would help fund other moves to make saving over Golovin

Likely to start, but he'll be out of the team as soon as Dzagoev is fit (he has recovered from his hamstring injury, but is a doubt due to back discomfort).

Decent even for 4th, yeah. Set pieces, nailed on, good long shoot. Solid stuff.

That price is tempting but he's a much better footballer than he is a fantasy option. 10 goals in 130 appearances at club level. Wouldn't want him as my 4th mid and I'd rather save 0.5m on a 5th mid.

    Sessegnon either 6.5, 7.0 or 7.5 (most likely 6.5).

Coleman at 5.0, Siggy on his return to Swansea was quite cheap, Michu as a 5.5 mid, Mahrez/Vardy obviously when they won the league

FPL launching player prices like this is very tiresome and frankly boring. Surely only the people who would definitely play the game anyway will take note and give a toss?

So it’s not marketing the game at all...

Which would you rather transfer in:

    A) Trippier (have Maguire)
    B) Golovin
    C) Modric
    D) Pavard

    Coutinho Willian ** ** **
    Kane Neymar Lukaku
