Eden Hazard (£10.5m) has been named on the Chelsea bench for the second week running as the Blues host Arsenal.

That comes after comments from Maurizio Sarri last week that the Belgian midfielder was not yet capable of playing 90 minutes, but he is still in 11.8 percent of teams.

Whether or not Hazard features as a substitute may well depend on the way the match unfolds. Sarri admitted that he was introduced in the second-half of Gameweek 1 as his side were already 2-0 and comfortable and cruising against a tired Huddersfield outfit. That might not necessarily happen this week.

Hazard’s absence from the starting line-up means another start for Willian (£7.5m) and Pedro (£6.5m) on the wings.

In the Arsenal camp Aaron Ramsey (£7.5m) was named on the bench with Alex Iwobi (£5.5m) coming in for his first start of the season.

The main focus will be on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.0m) though, sitting in 17.8 percent of Fantasy squads.

For the second time in 2018/19, Alexandre Lacazette (£9.5m) was chosen among the substitutes.

Bernd Leno (£5.0m) received similar treatment, with Petr Cech (£5.0m) preferred in goal once again.

CHELSEA XI (4-3-3): Kepa; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso; Jorginho, Kante, Barkley; Willian, Pedro, Morata.

ARSENAL XI (4-2-3-1): Cech, Bellerin, Sokratis, Mustafi, Monreal, Xhaka, Guendouzi, Mkhitaryan, Ozil, Iwobi, Aubameyang.

Going to need a lot of transfer windows to solve this, Emery…

Don't believe that. I think it is philosophical. There is no defensive organisation in Arsenal. Simeone would have made a difference.

Well, look at that Arsenal defence. Could have worked with other players.

I agree, apart from Papastathopoulos, its the usual clowns at the back.

Yep. And they had the chance to address this in the transfer window…

Defence is only partly to do with the players. How can Pulis and Allardyce and Hodgson organise a defence? They have crap players at their disposal. Defence is largely about philosophy. If you play Ozil, Mkhi, Auba, Iwobi and Xhaka and none of them can tackle, you have an issue. Why don't they play:

          Cech
          Sokratis Mustafi Koscielny
          Bellerin Torreira Guendozi Kolasinac
          Mkhi
          Laca Auba

More defensive, but that is what Arsenal need to be

You don't see managers changing philosophies often - and Emery won't be anything different. He knew what he wanted to do before he came to the club, and they could have used the transfer window to bring in players more suitable to his philosophy.

Yes. They have 1 or 2 players that would be in any of the top 4 teams. The rest would not make any of the starting 11s.

Alonso probably won’t output anywhere near last season in a flat back 4 and Pedro despite a great goals per minute record in a Chelsea shirt and doing a job at the highest level for years is a poorer choice than a guy that scored well in the championship - they told me.

    B) Jota > Pedro
    C) Jota & Firminho > Mane & Wilson
    D) Jota & Firminho > Mane & Ings

A & B can be done today, but C & D maybe not befrore Firminho plays. Want to get price rice and avioid price drop..

I’ll never understand why Arsenal insist on playing such a high defensive line with such slow centre backs. Virtually everyone goal against them is the same.

With Vardy out that may push Maddison forward more. Chelsea looking good though, Pedro will get his chances.
