        As in, it could go,wrong, but so could any move. As transfers go, it makes an awful lot of sense, and is not trying to be too clever.

      Depends what your squad looks like. I'm not convinced I want to spend what is likely be two transfers in 3/4 GW just to shuffle about a couple of Everton midfielders.

    If you can keep your head when all about you
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
    If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
    If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
    Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
    Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
    And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

    If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
    If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
    If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same;
    If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
    Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
    Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
    And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

    If you can make one heap of all your winnings
    And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
    And lose, and start again at your beginnings
    And never breathe a word about your loss;
    If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
    To serve your turn long after they are gone,
    And so hold on when there is nothing in you
    Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

    If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
    Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
    If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
    If all men count with you, but none too much;
    If you can fill the unforgiving minute
    With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
    Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
    And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

    Rudyard was obviously an FPL fan?

        With those fixtures and that form, it is not bound to end in disaster. It might end in a couple of blanks, but more likely to end in a couple of goals & a couple of price rises. He’s only 6.5 remember, this isn’t a 9.5 we’re talking about

    Is it madness to do Arnie and Richarlison > Kamara and Hazard? Im going to wait until after the game today because it will mean changing to 442 and having to play either Wan-Bissaka or Neves every week.

    Or could just do the sensible move of Rich > Pedro.

    Interesting people are getting Theo paperweight Walcott in so early

    A raindrop could hit him in training which would lead to season ending injury

    A risky move so early for a player with his injury record especially with a game midweek

            He's more nailed on than Walcott given his injury record. And Zaha attracts penalties for Mili to take.

            But if you want to take a punt and insist on an Everton player then why not Bernard? He is a straight swap replacement for Rich on the left wing.

    Hello guys !

    Currently this is my team :

    Patrico-Hamer

    Robertson-Alonso-Mendy-AWB-Daniels

    Salah-Mané-Bernardo Silva-Richarlison-Neves

    Aguero-King-Karama

    Bournemouth good fixtures, i probably keep King.

    1. Mané to Hazard (depending his minutes plays and his performance) and keeping Richarlison/Bernardo Silva.
    2. Richarlison to Pedro.
    3. Richarlison to Walcott.
    4. Mané to Hazard and Bernardo Silva to Walcott (-4) and keeping Richarlison.

    What's your advices ?

        I am not in a hurry. I think about the possible options.

      You have an almost identical team to me, only I have Mkhy and Tomkins instead of Bernardo and Daniels.

      Wait as long as possible to make any move this week. Personally, I like Richarlison to Pedro but that may change depending on the situation at Chelsea.

      Best of luck in the weeks to come!

          I like Hazard but I can't help think that Alonso, Kanté and Pedro will offer better value over the season. If Hazard's doing well, then there's a good chance they will too, for a fraction of the cost. As it stands, Hazard isn't a better captaincy pick than Salah or Aguero so I'm struggling to think of reasons why I should transfer him in

    For those who haven't played their wildcard and plan on waiting a little longer in the season, a great opportunity presents itself at game week 15 if one can wait that long. Here are the fixtures of some selected teams.

    Spurs- Amazing stretch of games, starting xi would be a little more settled and they seem to tend to start slow and then pick up as the season goes. From gameweek 15
    Sou, Lei, Burnley, Eve, Bou, Wolves, Cardiff, Mun(at home and we dont know if December could be peak Mou implosion period), Fulham, Wat, Newcastle, Lei, Burnley. Kane, Alli/Eriksen/Son and a Spurs def look intriguing options.

    West Ham- Cardiff, Palace, Fulham, Watford, Soton, Burnley, Brighton Arsenal (at home and early signs show leaky Arsenal defence), Bou, Wolves. Arnautovic/Hernandez (if he starts) look key plus maybe one of Yarmolenko/Felipe Anderson and Fab(CS and save points)

    City- A little more rough than others but they could possible be fixture prrof.
    Wat, Che(away but Sarris Chelsea isn't Contes Chelsea), Eve, Palace, Lei, Soton, Liv(at home and guaranteed goals), Wolves, Hud, Newcastle. Starting striker plus defensive option look intriguing.

    Newcastle. Short sexy run. Eve Wolves, Hud, Fulham. Defensive option or Dubravka and Kenedy at 5m ish could be gold.

    Of course all this is subjective and I could easily be saying nonsense.

    Tl;dr. Gw 15 onwards looks a great time to WC. Spurs have the best run followed by West Ham and City and Newcastle look a great way to set a template.

        Played one around the same time last year and it was golden. Had like 100 plus points with an average cap and did well in following weeks. My reasoning is since we all will use second WC double gameweek time and I assume most would plan for gw 37, might as well use the first one late. But all depends on you really

    Thinking just going for the default Rich > Pedro/Wally

    But, given Chelsea have Bournemouth would

    Mané/Richy > Haz & Kante (-4) be better

    I'm baffled that people who owned Richarlison are mocking the Walcott pick, like Richarlison is Leo Messi or something and Walcott is vastly inferior 😆

      yeah but wally is wally. that's my argument for not picking wally. and its a good one.

          you've been her long enough to have seen all the countless the wally band wagons crash and burn. he is brilliant at running behind defences (i think he is similar to vardy in that way) but he was unbelievably wasteful as a winger and wenger didnt trust him as a striker

            I don’t disagree with you but to a certain extent. Wally has also shown that he can score them (and in bunches) when he is in form. And for 6.5, it’s hardly a risk n

      Richarlison is better than Walcott.

      Walcott has been crap for the past 4/5 seasons. What has changed?

        What makes you think Richarlison is much better than Walcott, when he went about 20 games last season without a goal

          you don't think there was some extenuating circumstances there? silva supposed to go to toffees and take him with him last season then suddenly it falls through and then silva is sacked.

            Perhaps but he was still on a football pitch for 90 minutes a game not scoring any goals. I think Walcott has had more extenuating circumstances than Richarlison

              that goal wally scored yesterday was a textbook wally goal, hes great at that (always felt wenger should have given him more chances as an out an out striker and maybe things would have been different )Richarlison just has so much more in his locker

            And what about walcott’s extenuating circumstances? Moving clubs, changing managers etc?

            2017/18:
            - Walcott 62 pts, 20 appearances, 3.10 PPA
            - Rich 121 pts, 38 appearances, 3.18 PPA

            You have somehow concluded from this that Walcott was “crap” compared to Richarlison?

          Richarlison 21 and improving.
          Walcott 29 and regressing.

            If I had the choice between the two Id pick Richarlison, which is what I did. Rich is out though so Walcott is a good replacement.

        At the end of the day, it doesnt matter if people think Walcott is good or not. He scores goals when he is in form and fit

      It’s classic bias. Wally is not well liked in FPL circles, from times when he was 9.0 & 9.5 & failed to deliver or got injured etc.

      Personally i couldn’t get over the fact that he was only 6.5 when the season started but didn’t get him. Not making that mistake again now that Richa is suspended. He has the form & the fixtures so a very very logical pick at that price.

        Walcott was 9.5 at some point. Bloody hell, I'm really new to this game

          He got 27 goals & assists in a season before... I remember captaining him for a hattrick in a different season also.

          6.5 is too good to be true. If he was 7.5 or 8.0 it would be a tougher decision

        I have no bias against Walcott. There were times when he was 23/24 he got a lot of points. But he has gone backwards and is getting worse. He will get goals, but likely to get injured and fall out of forn quickly.

          If you can predict he will get injured in the next 3 games, fair play to you. Your crystal ball is of a very high quality. As it is, he is a super replacement for Richarlison:

          Form? Check
          Fixtures? Check
          Price Tag? Check

        Think wally can score a few next 3/4 weeks before I move him on - plus the price changes means I’ll improve team value for later in season

    26 baps in total for Salah at Liverpool after 36 goals and 12 assists.

    how is that possible?

      He misses like 10 chances a game

    2. C-Dawgg

      Because the game punishes players for positive play (incomplete dribbles, missed shots)

        Salah is priced at 13.0m which factors in he gets no BAPS. If the BAPS system changed so he hoovered them up then he would be priced at £15.0m (at least).

        My thinking exactly. My "problem" is that I already have all the best options in my team (imo). So I'm left with Fraser or Pedro to bring in, and am not wholly convinced by either.
