Eden Hazard (£10.5m) and Mateo Kovacic (£6.0m) make their first starts of the season as Chelsea attempt to win on Tyneside for the first time in the league since 2011/12.

Willian (£7.5m) and Ross Barkley (£6.0m), as would perhaps be expected, are the two men to make way as Maurizio Sarri otherwise rolls out the same team that beat Arsenal last weekend.

Marcos Alonso (£6.6m), who comes into this match on the back of successive double-digit hauls, is now the second-most popular defender in Fantasy Premier League after being bought by 470,266 new managers ahead of Gameweek 3.

Chelsea assets are popular in the Fantasy community after their 100% start to the season: five of their front six (the exception being Kovacic) have been bought by more than 100,000 FPL bosses since the Gameweek 2 deadline passed.

It’s all change in the Newcastle United starting XI, with six alterations to the team that drew 0-0 with Cardiff City. The injured Jamaal Lascelles (£5.0m) and Jonjo Shelvey (£5.5m) are among the players to drop out, while there are starts for new signings Fabian Schar (£4.9m), Federico Fernandez (£4.5m), Ki Sung-yeung (£4.9m) and Salomon Rondon (£5.9m).

Rafael Benitez seems to be rolling out a five-man defence, too, switching from his regular 4-4-1-1 system.

Slavisa Jokanovic has also rung the changes at Craven Cottage, with Ryan Sessegnon (£6.4m) and Fabri (£4.5m) among five players to drop to the bench. Denis Odoi (£4.5m) returns from suspension, while Marcus Bettinelli (£4.5m) is a surprise inclusion between the sticks. Andre Schurrle (£5.9m) also returns.

The Burnley team news is much more straightforward: Sean Dyche has named an unchanged starting XI for the third league match in a row.

Chelsea XI (4-3-3): Kepa; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso; Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic; Pedro, Morata, Hazard

Newcastle United XI (5-4-1): Dubravka; Yedlin, Schar, Fernandez, Clark, Dummett; Ritchie, Ki, Diame, Murphy; Rondon

Fulham XI (4-3-3): Bettinelli; Fosu-Mensah, Le Marchand, Odoi, Bryan; Seri, McDonald, Cairney; Vietto, Schurrle, Mitrovic

Burnley XI (4-5-1): Hart; Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Ward; Westwood, Cork, Gudmundsson, Lennon, Hendrick; Wood

Watford have some seriously challenging fixtures ahead and Fulham kind of do as well. While Wolves and CPL are going on a pretty good run now, so based on that I would say the latter.

Currently at 30k overall, but considering an early wildcard to move a little away from template and also bring in Hazard.

    Ryan (Button)

Alonso, Mendy, Robertson, Wan Bissaka (Bennett)

    Salah, Hazard, Mane (Kante, Masuaku)

    Aguero, Wilson, Ings

Pre season, I was obviously very against Kante but watching the way he is playing in his new box to box role for chelsea, he may actually be a bargain at 5m. Couldve easily had another assist today. Think he is a solid option to rotate with Wan Bissaka.

I could bring in Fraser for Kante and downgrade Alonso to Davies, but Alonso seems a must have at the moment given his attacking form.

Sorry should have made it clearer. This would be my wildcard team.
      My current team is

      Begovic (Boruc)
Alonso, Mendy, VVD, (Wan Bissaka, Peltier)
      Salah, Mane, B.Silva, Richarlison (Masuaku)
      Aguero, Zaha, Wilson.

      Essentially, I would be going
      VVD, Bilva, Richarlison, Zaha
      to
      Robertson, Hazard, Kante, Ings

    Fab/Foster
    Mendy/Alonso/VVD/Shaw/WB
    Salah/Mane/Rich/Hughes/Guendhouzi
    Aguero/Zaha/Arnie

    A - Mane/Rich > Hazard/Fraser or other 5.7 or less (for a -4)
    B - Rich > Walcott or other 6.6
C - WC (bring in Hazard, VVD>Robertson, rearrange attack for stronger midfield, losing one of Arnie or Zaha?)
    D - Other?

I personally think Emery will need a full season to fix what's wrong with this team (and it's a lot) and whoever will score/assist will be doing so sporadically.

For 11m you need a player like Kun, who will score a hat trick if he disappointed you with a blank the week before. Auba won't do that.

I dont understand why people are selling Mane

    + Form
    + Can score against anyone
+ Dont cost much like for example Salah

yeah I dont think I will do it. Tried to find a better combo than Salah-Walcott with inluded Hazard+another player from gmw4-gmw8.

This has been discussed so many times. The stats and points show that Salah is worth his price. And with his ownership your ranking takes a big hit every time he does something.

While Mane is a good option, so are a lot of other players in that bracket, with very good fixtures. Keeping him is fine, but I can completely understand why some are letting go of him for someone like Hazard for example. There is a fair chance he will outscore Mane in the upcoming run of games they have.

What a disastrous week - reckon this is worth a wildcard?

    Ederson, Stek
Mendy, TAA, Tomkins, A Smith, WB
    Salah, Mane, Mkhi, Richarlison, Hudson-Odoi
    Aguero, King, Arnie
    Bank 1.4m, 1FT

Just unlucky I'd say as it looks ok on paper!
Use the FT to get Rich out

I have a similar team and it seems mental to WC it, but I am considering it. Just because of that blonde curly p***k

Looks fine, no reason to WC imo

Took a -4 hit to get to this:
    Pickford (Stek)
    Mandy, Robertson, Pereira, Tomkins, AWB
    Salah, Pedro, Siggy, Fraser, Hughes
    Auba, Aguero, Ings

I don't need to knee-jerk into a wild card do I? Good for now?
Will look to work Alonso in at some point.

Looked quite good, difficult to know if he will be sharing time with Willian or not
