Hope it's nothing injury related then. Have to get him as part of a hit tonight.

If you think Hazard will outperform him by 4pts over the next few gameweeks then seems a sensible move to make. Interested in counter arguments, as I am currently considering this move! Current team:

        Fab
        Mendy - Robertson - Alonso
        Mkhi - Salah - Mane/Hazard - Neves
        Aguero - Mitro - Ings

        Shaw - WB - Gunnarsson

        1. Hanked
          • 14 Years
          8 years, 4 days ago

          My counter argument:

          - Judging the return over multiple weeks doesn't make sense imo. You can often transfer them both in for free if you delay one of the transfers 1 week. So the second transfer needs to outperform by -4 in the first GW after the transfer to be justified.

          - To be a top FF performer you need to score 6 points per week. Double digits are not as frequent as people expect. Mane is outperforming that benchmark by about 64% at the moment. He can't perform any better, you won, you picked a winner, now accept the profits

          Typo

Ha, he's looked bright of recent and we've been a little short on options at LB. It's more optimism at this point, but got to be an upgrade on Ashley Young.

Head says B, heart says A. Love watching David Silva and think Jimenez has been unlucky not to get more. I'd probably go with A for differential as long as rest of team is pretty solid.

        This is the team:

Nice team. Brighton keeper or bust?

Only thing with having Zaha is that it allows an easy swap to Arnie when fixtures improve. I think Arnie is going to do very well this season if he stays fit. Not sure he'll outscore Silva though if Silva keeps starting until De Bruyne is back so think it's safe enough.

          1. Karan_G14
            • 10 Years

I could get 2 x 4.5s by downgrading one of Kante ot TAA.

Yeah I agree about Arnie. I had him from the start. Just don’t like 3 of his next 6 fixtures and his injury last week.
But he’s definitely in my plan after that I think he’ll be the best budget forward this year.

    Good to Go?

    Ederson
    Wan-Bissaka
    Tomkins
    Robertson
    Salah (VC)
    Sterling
    Schneiderlin
    Sigurdsson
    Maddison
    Arnautovic
    Agüero (C)

    Hamer
    Ings
    S Ward
    Chilwell

Slightly worried about lack of Arsenal and Chelsea but you can't have them all.

Transfer this week was Rich to Siggy.

Perhaps a better way to put it...

Using the usual format for posting teams is easier to read and will get you more response.

Schneiderlin should not be considered for an fpl squad. He's not the right sort of player, Play Ings instead.

The rest of your team is ok but probably not as strong as lots you will see.

Siggy is a decent replacement for Rich but wouldn't be my first choice. Lots of people would prefer Pedro, Walcott, Mkhi, which is especially relevant since you mentioned Chelsea and Arsenal.

          I'm captaining Salah over Aguero.

          1. Not again Shirley

Schneiderlin is fodder (and I think good fodder as can't get any cheaper) but have to play him against Hudd tomorrow (esp. as Ings injured).

To be honest I think there's a lot of short sightedness on this site as one it only takes 1 week for someone to go from essential to transferring out for minus 4 (Mane as an example).

Walcott bang average player and Pedro will have his minutes managed also so don't really like either pick.

As you say though, it is all opinion.

Salah over Aguero is brave with late kick off against terrible team for the latter and Liverpool have early KO which can sometimes be low scoring. Good luck though.

i have to say that is for sure a bit different to the template around here i have to give you that.but..........
oh boy double palace at the back and one might not even play, schneidelin also injury concern +why schneidlin?, siggy as replacement of richalison ? maddison without vardy cant see him doing anything, and your bench is massive soooo much money on it you could have arnies minutes managed due to knee problem and ings has a funky blister the size of a cucumber (continental) ward chillwell? huge... even sterling could share pitch time, dude this would be a hard bullet to swallow for me .you asking g2g i am saying you are far of it, sorry dude but if i would manage this team i would he on a verge of pulling the trigger and wildcard even if i am an advocate of later based wildcarding.bets advice wildcard us the template team around here (and see your ranking soaring) and work from there in slowly steady steps, good luck dude 🙂

Thanks for the comments Hot Fuzz.

I am doing surprisingly well so far (Top 50 K) with this set of players.

Schneiderlin was only supposed to be bench fodder as cheapest MF going at 4.5 so happy with that decision. Only playing him as already lost faith in Ings (who probs won't play anyway).

I reckon Siggy is an excellent replacement for Rich (way better player than walcott and they have decent fixtures)

Bought Chilwell in and he has only played for me once and got 8 points. Chilwell was another player that was hyped up on this site in the article from few weeks back as decent differential.

Tomkins was supposed to be my main Palace defender and AWB fodder but now he is doing so well and has easy game I am going to play him.

Maddison bought in at beginning of season so was not to know vardy would be out. He is on most free kicks and corners and main creator in team so again quite happy with him.

My main concern is Sterling as he is over priced but not exactly going to lose him now with 2 easy home fixtures. He could easily get many points over next 2 weeks.

I am not too unhappy as do have Salah, Robbo, Aguero, Sterling, Ederson, AWB, Siggy and Arnie and they are all quite template with a mix of differentials.

I do appreciate your comments though as they were constructive (which is the point of this site).

no dramas my man and as i said in the start it does look different and if this is working out for and you are happy that whats counts, we cant all have the same team 🙂 and its good to see you got a good ranking( protect it 🙂 ,imo its only 3 rounds though, with a fluke goal from schneidelin, the chillwill points as you said you played him once and boom!( but chilli did really well i must say) enderson assist otherwise would be quit expensive for the return per million. arnie penalty ings great start in a shy attacking sou side and you might of captained kun for this 20 pointer.all that accumulate to a decent bunch of points. what i try to say is ,you got a great ranking with your team selection punts and template paying out for you but my concern is how long that is going to happen? i cant tell you that either, my crystal ball broke yesterday, the only thing i know is that this game is a marathon not a sprint. All the best to you hope you will have an amazing season.

Think I must have missed Schneiderlin goal but has not been off my bench yet (as he is fodder).

Didn't captain Aguero for his 20 points as this site and bloke from Guardian put me off.

Ings is going next week. Annoyed with myself last week as was a toss up between him and Mitro but went for cheaper option due to looking to change Ward for Alonso. That worked out well.

Good luck for the season to you too.

CL fixtures between GWs 5 & 6 could give us a rotation headache. Aguero (c) looks ideal for Fulham at home but with CL days later it wouldn't be a shock if Pep gave him a rest.

Looks likely. Has trained this week, late fitness check. I'm an owner, so probably a touch biased, but with all the tough fixtures coming up, you'd think a win against Wolves should be high on the agenda given their poor start to the season.

In fact Tosun is second to Kun striker for next 4 weeks. Playing for attacking-minded team and looks in good form.

Really fancy Tosun this weekend. Huddersfield didn’t recruit well, conceded 9 in their first 2 and managed to lose to Stoke in midweek. Tosun has played well, linking up a lot of their attacks but the chances haven’t quite fell to him thus far. They will on Saturday, expect him to bury them.

    1. Karan_G14

Yeah Tosun is a great differential for this week. But I think long term Richarlison will be the best pick.

    Tough one, here:

Peltier to Bennett for a -4 hit?

Why, you might think? Peltier is about to fall to 3.9 (-96.7) and Bennett is on the rise for 4.1 (96.4)

So, if they both change in price, it's 0.2 I have to find elsewhere to do the swap eventually (0.0 ITB)

Does it make sense to you?

On a same boat. Also Stephens near 4.4. I would hate to miss value but also getting minus points for bench warmer seems undoable.

But I am pretty sure Peltier will bounce back to 4.0 since 3.9 is the cheapest possible which is why he will be bought again.

More annoyed on missing Bennett since he seems quite sure starter. Also Stephens for me was the buy and forget 4.5 until I would change for having 4.5 as my 5th mid.

Aggravating, sure. Many in that same boat (which is why they'll actually drop). I was triggerhappy last GW and got rid of Stephens thinking he would fall. Regretting that, but would maybe spend a hit on Peltier to Bennett if the latter is actually ressonably nailed.
