City playing Lyon in the champions league only 4 days after the Fulham game

Do you think captain Kun will be a huge risk?

I believe Kun will start vs Lyon
        Can't see any other scenario

That makes me think about Hazard as the best captain option next GW, he cold be essential

It’s not like Llorente or Giroud, Jesus is top quality and can start any game that’s why I think he could play all champions league group stages

    Fabianski Foster
    Mendy Robertson Tomkins Cedric AWB
    Salah Mane B.Silva Richarlison* Neves
    Auba Arnie Ings

After a great GW1, my last two gameweeks have been quite poor. I have 2FT and my main priorities are to get in Aguero and Alonso, but would need to take a hit to get both. I'm thinking Aguero is the top priority for this week so I'm considering:

    A) Auba and Richarlison to Augero and Mkhi (0.1 left in bank)
    B) Auba, Richarlison and Cedric to Aguero, 4.5 mid and Alonso (-4 hit, 0.4 left in bank)

Mkhi could be Lucas Moura in option A, and a 5.0 mid could be available if I remove Tomkins instead of Cedric in option B.

Which do you think is better? Any comments appreciated.

    1. Khark
      • 11 Years
      8 years, 17 days ago

      A, the answer is A

Your covering your back for the arsenal fixtures with Mkhitaryan & I do think he’s better value than Aubameyang going forward even though Aubameyang will start scoring soon. And aguero is absolute must have not only this week but going forward.

One of them that back fires or pays off. Complete 50/50 this.

What I would say is, if you genuinley want Hazard and Mkhitaryan long term then just go for it, it’s a -4 which might back fire but wouldn’t be the end of the world if you’ve got the players you want going forward ... BUT if you’re doing it just because Hazard has Bournemouth and Mkhitaryan has Cardiff then yes step away from the computer

      1. Drogba Legend
        • 8 Years
        8 years, 17 days ago

I mean I would have them long term, but I could just get them on a WC within the next month or so..just such appealing fixtures and Hazard looks World CLass

        1. Khark
          • 11 Years
          8 years, 17 days ago

The thing with Hazard is that under Sarri they’re attacking and he’s the go to man, everything is going to go through him & then add the no Europe factor Hazard should be talked about in the same bracket as Salah Aguero and Kane this season IMO.

Jumping on Hazard sooner rather than later to catch his early hauls makes sense to me.

And just to clarify I’m absolutley anti hits ... I’m a patient fantasy player, but I’d peobably do the -4 to get aboard Hazard asap.

      This concerns me massively.

Guiata will be fuming he’s come to sit on the bench, but Hennessey is playing well.

I think Hennessey is one bad performance away from being dropped as I’m convinced they bought Guiata to be number 1.

For the time being Hennessey is okay.

      1. Bat Man
        • 9 Years
        8 years, 17 days ago

Yes, this. I want to bring in Henn as one of my 4.5 gks on my wildcard but don’t want this risk. He is by far the best option to rotate with Ryan, though. Think it’s worth the risk?

        1. Khark
          • 11 Years
          8 years, 17 days ago

I’m a believer in Form so I would personally.

Hennessey won’t be getting dropped providing he doesn’t drop any howlers. I think you gotta go with him as you can’t plan for what iffs and at the moment he’s the man & great value in a defensively solid team.

Hennessey Patricio Ryan all great for 4.5s

Hennessey is unfortunately looking over his shoulder though. But Brighton have suprised me & Wolves look good which I think we all expected.

If it wasn’t for fixtures I’d put Foster in that bracket but they’ve got a stinking run coming up

Who thinks Auba is finally going to do some bits this weekend??

I’ve stuck with him since GW1 and this is his last chance to prove me right!!

If Aguero gets injured then Auba goes straight in to my team

Hopefully for you. Don't understand why people thought he would get returns vs City and Chelsea though.

Wolves question. Bennett is safe enough short term even with Dendoncker? Will WC possibly international break

Well I’ve just taken a -4 hit to get Bennett in for Peltier to avoid the price changes so yeah I think he’s safe for now. Not done anything wrong to warrant being dropped for Dendoncker and played well. Def no harm in having him at 4.0 imo!

Yeah, should be. Wolves think Dendoncker will need a while to get up to speed for the PL. And he's as much a DM as a CB anyway.

      I think Aubameyang will come
Good but with Mkhitaryan sat at 7m(ish) I feel th extra 4m spent on Aubameyang is crazy.

Get rid and freshen up after Cardiff regardless IMO

Just fancy Utd to Shaw things up , they keep lots of CS every season and have great fixtures to turn things around

      Prefer 2x4.5 keepers to that.
Would probably Also go Kabalese -> and Odoi -> 5m mid.
Not a fan of Moura either.
      Other than that good team

All to come in few weeks :). Got 0.7 ITB so probs go Moura to Pererya after fixture switch and son return... then downgrade Pickford and upgrade other 2 🙂

Probably nothing to stop him playing Saturday if he trained today as Hughes said he did. I guess it depends whether there's a reaction after training.

Mad to even consider WCing this lot? Already took a -4 to get Alonso in (planned to bench Richi) and now Ings potential injury leaves me with 10 players if he misses out

    Fabi
    Alonso TAA Mendy AWB
    Salah Mane Mkhi Dilva
    Kun Ings*
    (Foster Richi Peltier Kamara)

      I wouldn’t WC this team.
Overall good. Might do Rich to someone for an extra hit instead of WC if Ings is out.
or hope that Kamara plays after his brace in Carabao.

Anyone planning to get Vardy in? Fixures from GW5 are incredible. Not sure how I am going to do it though, either find 3.5m to upgrade Ings or 1.9m upgrade Zaha (who also has good fixtures)

Not sure he is worth the extra outlay compared to Zaha, Mitro, Jiminez - and potentially Arnie

Aguero plus cheaper options too good atm then what if Kane or other premium becomes essential

Unfortunately not I’ve got Aguero Kane up top so can’t afford Ings to Vardy

I am looking at getting Gray or Maddison in though from GW5
