Some previously powerful Fantasy Premier League set piece assets seems to have lost their edge in the first four Gameweeks of 2018/19.

That’s what our latest research into set plays data has shown us this week.

    About scoutcast.

    A lot here disslike it but I like that they try some new things. They try to improve and add some new things which is really good. They need to see what works and what isnt.
    "Rough with the smooth" I never fancy too much, "The Quiz" idea isnt bad but need to be done properly and shorter and "Forfeit challenge" really sounds fun and could bring in some laugh.
    More stats and talks about their plans (with visual of their team on screen) maybe?

      Yeah I totally agree, it was far improved than the first couple this season but still not what it used to be.

      It misses Mark a lot as he was very good at moving the conversations on promptly and keeping it from getting boring at times, but Joe is getting better at this.

      I still look forward to it every week

      No problem people trying new things and as far as I’m aware they don’t get paid for appearances so much respect.
      However there was nothing wrong with the scoutcast structure that Mark had built and it included more in depth fpl analysis and opinions/arguments than we have seen recently.The visuals of their teams is a good suggestion and enhances other streams I’ve seen out there.

        Im leaning more towards giving him another week and rolling the transfer. Lukaku seems on good form and has the fixtures coming up to do so - probably best after Watford mind.

      Found this a good read - do we all think that Kane's position is going to transform into the Rooney role as opposed to the selfish goalscorer type - seems he is playing deeper and assisting more, but his shots stats are in decline.

      At 12.5m, he looks increasingly expensive if the above is true?

        This is giving me a real headache. I've had Robertson since day 1 and returns have been great. I'm on WC now and I am tempted to drop, is it wrong?! I am tempted to make the following changes - let me know if you think it's a good move:

        Robertson to Pereira
        Mane to Moura
        Fraser to Silva

        Current team is:

            If you’ve got another 11m player in your team (apart from Kun) then I would like for like swap. If not, probably wait and use a WC to bring him in if he is firing!

          ok... so here's what I think about last nights scoutcast-

          General discussion was good
          Forfeit could work but lets not make it too cringe. If I wanted to watch someone eat a chilli, make an arse out of themselves etc.. I would subscribe to Logan Paul or some other berk.
          The luck discussion was interesting but I'm not sure that it needs to be a game? and if it is a game I would boil it down to a chalkboard each week i.e. if 3 out of the 4 agree something was lucky for a person - strike on the chalkboard vice versa for unlucky no need to quantify it so much.
          The quiz- I'm flabbergasted that anyone thought that this would be a good idea. My girlfriend who is normally in the room when I listen to this (i.e not someone who knows the format / only listens via proxy) said 'what on earth are they doing?' and 'why are they doing this?' I really struggled to answer either question.
          I actually don't think the previous weeks scoutcasts this season have been that bad, certainly not worth 'wildcarding' to last nights experiment. My advice would be that if you are going to implement changes don't do them all at once. This was borderline unrecognisable from previous efforts.

          What I will say is that I am grateful that you 4 gents give up your time to put out a (free) product and I certainly appreciate that. Some of the more vitriolic comments on here do need to bear that in mind.
