    Luke Shaw' s health seemed to be an important issue at United when jose felt he wasn't useful, now that he clearly is, not so much . Or maybe their magical state of the art technology for healing concussed brains actually works??...id get onto the NFL if so. Shameful .

      cant compare , your head is much more in danger in the nfl as you can be hit from every direction , concussions are more frequent there , in footy its mostly a freak thing . like ruddy on drogba , not as many precautions need to be taken its just a week off which is what he had

        sorry but that's nonsense. a concussion is a concussion is a concussion. and anyway he's a defender. he plays with his head. a concussion on top of another concussion-even though less likely than the NFL- could affect him in later life. that's how it works. his brain isn't any better at healing itself than anybody else's. If he plays on saturday it just shows you whats really important to these clubs. Premier league are in the stone ages with this issue.

      Palace are arguably the most one man team in the league.

      Hodgson suggested Zaha shouldn't have trained but he still did. Looks to me as if Zaha calls the shots.

    Long drive home and listened to Always Cheating podcast. FFS, FML FPL and WGTA are my staples. Quite liked it, knowledgeable chaps and entertaining. Brandon sounds exactly like Jim Nantz commentating on Tiger Woods in the early 2000’s 😀

    Why has everybody gone off Bilva? Rotation is always going to be an issue in the City midfield but he's had his rest and is as cheap as chips. The more you spend on players prone to rotation the more it hurts when they are benched.

      Because even when he played he didn't look very involved. Sterling and DSilva look much more likely to be involved.

        Wasn't that the game where he played at LB? Sterling is great but so expensive. I like Dilva but he costs more and Pep has already said that he will be less involved this season.

          Krionos is right, Bernardo has been playing in deep positions where he couldn't get involved in goals after the first or second gameweek. He missed a sitter in one game but he wont convert 100% of chances. The Huddersfield game was illustrative of the role he's been taking, 6 goals and no involvement.

          I don't think he ever played LB...?

          He's not cheap when you consider some other options in midfield who are completely nailed in attacking positions and cost less (e.g. Richarlison, Pereyra, also forwards such as deeney and Wilson).

    I think Set piece scorers are just too random and there is little point worrying about it. Yes Set piece takers for sure will get points over the course of the season but scorers from indirect free kicks and corners are just too unpredictable to base a strategy on. Its just a bonus.

    Does anyone pick players based on scoring threat from set pieces?

      Looks like you’re in a very tough spot. Wouldn’t normalt recommend hits, but this seems awful. Maybe even consider FH

      I'm doing Mkhi & Robbo out to fund Alonso. No idea why i didn't get him from the start. Robbo has only had 1 shot to Alonso's 12. TAA in on WC week 10 i think.

    On WC, rest of team sorted got Kun upfront do i go with:

    A. Mitro and Wilson, got a decent enough bench for rotations elsewhere.
    B. Lacazette and bench fodder also swapping another defender for bench fodder.

    Havnt been following him playing, hows he looking?
